45mph, ha! These can go to around 60 if you really push them to!

also D7e might be better, it has 290hp and is euro 4 compliant, I know that came to the B7RLE-60 but not too sure about the B7TL. (edit i don't think it ever did) Voiths had more power than ZF's though, to compensate lack of gears.

Also for this we need viscous fan simulation :p

    lovely noise:

I love the way it builds up, fan slowly revs up, then reaches full speed, turbo comes in, engine revs soar, fan sticks at full speed and the bus goes through the gears like a bat out of hell!

Nah, the B7TL only ever had the D7C. However, the D9A came in the B9TL - which will be available also.
Yes, they can do 60 - but the ones we used to have locally had really short gearing, since they only ever drove around town.

Since the B7RLE is still a B7 base chassis, I might be doing the single-deck B7s at some point using the B7TL chassis as a base. However, here is my current lineup of my planned mods:

(This is old, before I changed the plan about the frame)
    upload_2018-10-28_14-1-48.png
The Meteor is the Dennis Dart, and the Athlete is the Volvo Olympian.
Wrong, the the Gemini pictured there is in fact a B7TL chassis bus :p
The B7RLE is newer though, if that's what you meant.

    No, only plaxton president.
    --- Post updated ---
also does this mean the Dennis Dart will be the SLF Plaxton Pointer 2 variety? Then you don't have to redo the headlights :p

I replied to him on Discord, what he meant was 'Are the newer bodies going to be made as well?'
    The answer is yes :D
The President will be done first, then the ALX400, then the Gemini I and then the East Lancs bodies.
Yes, it does mean the SLF. I knew for many years that the Pointer 2 was basically styled as a single-deck President :)

Not to be rude or anything, but have you considered joining my server? :p
It has the dimensions for the chassis' engine bay, and some progress so far on the chassis being re-made. Not to mention a nice tutorial by Capkirk himself on engine creation :D

That's a Routemaster, make by AEC (basically British Leyland I think) and used until 2005 in regular service in London and still used on one line mon-fri and on many historic routes round the country but now were getting off-topic. It is however a representation of what this bus may have looked like back in the 50's. the rear stairs were taken out due to too many people not paying and so it requires a conductor. Another job that needs doing which means more money from the government

That is indeed a Routemaster. Those buses have an FR layout with the engine mounted longtitudinally at the front. This bus has its engine mounted sideways in the back, meaning that a rear-staired version can't have its stairs in the rear corner, but still at the back of the bus.

Not enough progress has been made to post here yet, since I'm re-doing the B7TL chassis, and then re-doing the body frame and re-sizing the body.

The B7TL doesn't have much chassis reference on it, since it was actually created for the UK market only, who wanted a shorter bus than the B7L - which had its engine mounted longtitudinally in the back. It was built by Leyland originally, and then built in Sweden by Volvo themselves.

I've found what it stands for as well - this, and any Volvo bus chassis name:
In B7TL, B means Bus, 7 means 7-litre engine, T means Transversely mounted engine, and L low floor.

If anyone can find any reference images on the actual B7TL, let me know :p . This isn't like the Blackfoot, I can still make this chassis easily from what I have - but it would make it even easier for me if possible.

I see this bus is going very well! I like it! I know this is only going to be right-hand drive, but will there be a version with doors on both sides of the road, so that we would be able to use this in bus routes when we are able to use custom buses one day?

I think they mean a LHD and RHD version of the bus, not one with a set of doors on each side

    The answer is no.
This bus and chassis, even the custom versions, are being kept as realistic as possible. This means RHD only, and doors only on the left-hand side of the bus.
I've never heard of, let alone seen, a bus with doors on both sides. It just doesn't make sense really.
I know you want to use this on USA routes with LHD, but you can only use the Wentward on those anyway right now - and there will be custom RHD routes on RHD maps for this bus in future.
