That’s the wrong vote, that one ended a while ago, sorry You can still vote in the current one for the name though, unless you already did (too lazy to check sry) --- Post updated --- Thanks!
https://documentation.beamng.com/modding/vehicle/sections/props/ I’m glad they documented the Beans. Quite helpful. I’ll use this for the gauges for sure, so if any dev or person who contributed to the documentation sees this, thanks --- Post updated --- Vote’s over! Here are the standings: JSP: CSP: ++ FVP: ++ LVP: + LCP: ++ FCP: JSP: ++ MVP: + Now, I decided that I will personally decide what to pick out of CSP, FVP, LCP and JSP. *drum roll* (haven’t decided yet lol) --- Post updated --- To everyone who voted, thank you very much! And to the people whose vote didn’t win, if you want, you can vote again out of all the winning options.
So uh I decided that there isn’t enough configs (that’s obviously a lie) So I’m making electric variants factory too. You’re welcome EV haters!
Well the range will be about the same as the Petitron, aka not good. I was legit once surprised while driving the Petitron, I never ran out of fuel on a petrol car lol
good, a late 80s/ early 90s EV would not have lithium batteries yet, instead using lead acid batteries probably, and maybe like 70 ish km of range.
Electric cars of the Time used normal car batteries (i think a dozens of them) . So the 0-100 kph was in 28 seconds and ranges were to about 30-40 km. First good one was the GMC Ev1, but it had a sleepy throttle response and it has a speed limiter that didn't letted it go over 100kph. And , sorry to tell you that, but , Tesla was the first one to Do good electric cars like the one we have to this day
okay, first part, you are very wrong, looking at cars like the electrica conversions of the focus/lynx, which had 80 km of range, as well as other cars, even some ev conversions of the amc gremlin had 80 km of range. some were worse having as little as 40 km, but for the most part the average from late 80s-early 90s is 60 ish. I think you are mixing up your imperial and metric units, as that is very much wrong. secondly, I have already said they used lead-acid batteries, that is the type of battery that the majority of car batteries are. you are saying a whole bunch of nothing. and why do you have to be sorry to tell me that last one? I don't really care, I own a model 3, they're really easy to drive why does everyone have such an issue with em
It’s not always easy to tell who’s an EV hater and who isn’t (I’m not) so maybe some misunderstanding was there. Old electric cars were just crappy af, that’s their nature.
Yeah, just wanted to correct him when he said 30-40 km range. if he said that in freedom units, would make sense but in our perfect french units that is utter garbage D:
Aparently, those were the estimated range for the Saxo E and the 106 E Also , i'm not an electric cars hâter , just a Tesla one --- Post updated --- Also , you don't have to be mean , i'm just simplifying your explenation . And i wasn't just talking to you , just explaining the electric engines lore
The hatchback… I tried doing something but I lost motivation for it and focused on other features for now. Like rn I’m making the electric motor (EV conversions in Beam aren’t as easy as you think, you need to know what you’re doing) so yeah. Mod is getting progress but not too major and flashy stuff, not much to show off. Like, I made the diesel gauges show off correct numbers. Or, the USDM front fascia (looks very similar to the EUDM one, again nothing flashy). Also, I’ll have to add CVT and then I’ll work on the hatchback and finally lettering.
oooo cvt very cool, are u gonna use the vanilla beammg one? i recommend this one https://www.beamng.com/resources/manumatic-continuously-variable-transmission.10069/ the author allowed the use of it in other mods if you give credit "Permission: The implementation of this mod into your custom vehicle mod is allowed, as long as proper credit is given and the download link must be within BeamNG forums and resources.
