Hey, if you need some testers I'd be glad to help out. I have plenty of free-time, and I've been playing the game for almost 3 years now (760 Hours in total spent playing), so I know how most of the game works. If there was anything else I knew how to do, I'd be happy to help out. I also have quite a few Ideas you could use, which I can PM to you if you'd like --- Post updated --- My guess would be a 4.5L with an extremely tight fit. 5.5 Probably wouldn't fit.
no need to teach me Wikipedia articles. Whats the reason you come up with those posts even? GXi was a r32 trim which disappeared together with the ca18i. Also, the rb neo engines are a totally different generation so not even worth to be mentioned here.
Also just to back you up here, the car is a fictional mod that is only INSPIRED by the skyline, not a clone of it. You do what you do best because at the end of the day, correct to the original may not be the best idea. Personally I love that you haven't made only a stupidly powerful motor and I wish the best of luck as you go forward with this mod !
The skyline was a JDM saloon/sedan car with a coupe option. It gained most of it's fame within Japan with the 1969 incarnation of the GTR (in fact, the GT-R was first released as a saloon/sedan). To this day, Nissan still produces the skyline. You might know it better as the Infiniti Q50, as it is branded only as a Skyline in Japan and East Asia. The R35 is NOT a Skyline, as it is not based on the same platform as any of the cars, but on a bespoke plaform. As a result, the GT-R (R35) does not adopt the skyline name. I was sad when I found out about the change to be honest, because it was no longer possible to get a GT-S or GT-X and modify it to look/perform like a GT-R Oh yeah, and by the way, the Skyline coupe (CV35) is this car: It's not really that good...
