The pescoupe shall live on, in the land of legendary mods. Its like the civetta bolide corse. if the civetta bolide legacy wasnt made… while it lasted…. it was so fun.. now.. its outdated.. R.I.P. Pescoupe.
yea when i launched the pescoupe right after i downloaded 0.26 the tacho2 wasnt there then i went to my mods and checked pescoupe and it said outdated
There is an easy fix that well, fixes the main problem , the car spawning but not working. As of now i don't not if the author of the mod maybe is working on updating this mod or if its dead, the mod not the author. So i can't post the mod here with out hes/her permission, but i can give a clue. The mod is to simple, just transfer the odometer section of the original pessima (as of update 26) to the bodies of each car on this mod. I don't know how much more specific i can be without the moderators or the author itself delete my post or even report me.
yea. so our goal is not make this a dead thread and probably transform into a pescoupe mourning thread unless the creator of this mod replies to my dm (i dmed him and told him that pescoupe was broken) sooooo yea.
As far as i known you need explicit permission from the author of the mod to post a fix on this thread or, specially, to post as a reworked mod. If not the mods may just remove your post or, in a worst case scenario, somebody including the author may report your account for stealing the mod. I don't know if the mod has been dead for lets say 1 or more years and the author is nowhere to be seen, maybe in that case you can get away with posting a fix on this thread but the moderators have the last word in that case.

No need need for a video, just follow these steps: Get notepad++ or a similar program, if you wanna use the base notepad is ok but is more annoying that way Go to the BeamNG main folder in my case is : "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive" From there go the content folder then to vehicles folder, now copy the pessima.zip and decompress it somewhere else Once decompress search for the file pessima_body.jbeam then open it Now for the pescoupe part, first get the mod zip file and decompress it Following that search for the file pescoupe_body.jbeam and open it Now follow this image: Repeat for the other bodies. That was the main part of the fix, remember this is a quick and dirty fix that gets the car working but there are several more issues with the car, there are mostly visual so the car will run fine. Once you have save the files, you can chose how to get the new fixed mod into the game, the simpler way is to compress it again (with a different name) and drop it on the BeamNG mod folder, not the repo folder the main mod folder, follow the example below. And of course disable the old mod.
