And the kitchen is still cooking for sure: And...after giving it much thought...I reopened my buymeacoffee site. I wasn't planning on ever using it again, but this time, I'm investing actual money on AI and many hours on these features...which I'm quite aware other modders could get for free in a jiffy, but...I'm sadly none of them. So, here it is, in case you want to help out a bit. And please, let me get this straight...mod is free, will always be free, and I don't want ANYONE to think they owe me anything, this...well, just donations. If you happen to have a dime to spare, I would appreciate it, if you don't, or simply don't want, it's ok, I just want people to enjoy the mods. Also...site don't allow me to go any lower on prices, so...can't do much on that. But...anyway, there is the link, I don't want to flash it more than that: DONATE Currently I'm trying to debug the car, by trying to clear as much as possible the console of errors. Features-wise...we'll see as it goes, but hopefully a few more things can be done. I'm also trying to update the thumbs but seems like the Showcase map is broken, so it's hard to do anything right now...
damn this is very inpressive, i didnt know that AI got this smart, last time i tried using it for modding it broke everything.
Well, it's not THAT easy yet, modelling...still on you. At least for now. Helpful with textures though. Lots of text, to describe the mechanisims you need, lots of testing, lots of trial and error...but a gamechanger for sure. For example, I wasn't able to make the Phase I talights work fine. All lights on the glass work fine, except for the reverse, it just pops on and off, no smooth lighting effect whatsoever. Tried everything I could, AI too. And in the end...it suggested me to go back to Blender...thought the issue couldn't be there, UV map was correct, materials were correct...it told me to select the reverse light area, and select 'Split'. That's it. Solved. I couldn't have guessed that in a thousand years! Anyway, it gets smart with a mid-tier suscription at least...free plans won't do it. No coding specialist too. So...hopefully worth the investment. On my end, seeing all these features in, kinda worth it surely, at this point I thought they would never be added...
well last time i tried it for fixing the vintage autobahn mod but it just broke everything even more, could be possebly because i have the computer skills of a 10y/o. wish you luck on this mod dude, these updates are amazing
Well, I was being held back by skill issues, and...I still am, based on what I can model, but at least I can double down on features and fixing issues, which is not half bad.
Love the work tho,i love driving one of the best hot hatches ever in Beamng with all the detail you added!
Sunvisors used to be fixed in place. I got them to move some days ago, but of course, they were all blank in the open side, and in real life, plenty of choices were available... ...choices now available in the mod too! (Yet another disclaimer, yes, AI made this...possible, to start with. Code flows like water, BUT, lots of manual work is involved here...for example, modelling the different models, that's 100% on me)
that's how AI should be used, like a helping hand and not just straight up doing the work for you. Keep going, we are loving to see the new progress!
To be honest, 98% of coding is AI, but...otherwise, all these features are out, I simply don't have the knowledge on how to make any of this work. But I found a workflow that just works...for example, after some modelling by me...this is also working*: *Still not final, and still on debugging phase, controls and animations are provisional. I intend on making the 205 as interactive as possible, as long as it works, it will be added. Sorry for the update taking this long, but 5.0 will be a huge update, and before I release it, I want to make sure everything just works fine.
Wow nice, you want a "driving school" glovebox ? i was trying to make mine but i don't know how to texturing parts xD (ask me if you want picture of my 205 "driving school")
