This looks amazing. 80s cars always had an aesthetic that I enjoyed. This is great for your first mod too!
Ok. Unfortunately the model isn't the greatest. I am moving though but eliminating some of these errors will probably be beyond my skill level. However like I said I will release a "working version" sometime soon. It just probably wont be the highest quality. This is probably going to be my last update for a couple of days.
Some jbeam work is being done. Its not deforming exactly right. But I think it is acceptable. Im going to try and get the suspension moved and then finish the body.
https://i.imgur.com/oC5pEH2.png Ok after converting a lot of the car, I realized that I was making things far more difficult then they needed to be. So I started again from scratch. I have just got done flipping normals. Now to redo textures and try to make this not look like complete garbo.... Thanks and stay tuned. --- Post updated --- These door cards took entirely too long to fix. Did I get every back face? Probably not, but I kinda see why mesh slappers borrow meshes from triple a games. I don't agree with it, but I get it. Update 2, believe it or not this is as close as done as this has ever been. The material issues are very easy to fix.
I wish you the best. If you can, could you put the Aries K wagon? The one with the luggage rack and wooden details on the sides. Thank you and I hope this project can be completed. I look forward to adding it to my game.
Ok, huge update. I have basic materials working. The mesh is looking pretty good, but not great. I may need to convert it a third time to try and weasel out the bugs. I'm doing the best I can but the mesh is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But look, colors!
That looks great! Keep up the good work dude!. And yea, your always gonna have to keep changing stuff a little coz of the bugs. But hey, that looks pretty good!
Great to see a mod that starts off with reasonable progress and doesn't get abounded after 3 days. Keep it up Love the work so far.
