First, I clicked the green install button on the page for the add-on cars and nothing happened. So then I tried downloading them and replacing the vehicles and commons folders. All the files are in the games directory now, but they still won't show up in the game. Only the black prototype car.

Thanks man, I double checked I was downloading the right thing. It just won't show up in the game

Absolutely fantastic! I love everything about this mod. My only suggestion is that I'd like the option to change the engine RPM's and possibly suspension characteristics in the tuning menu. I look forward to the station wagon and coupes! As for the whole Impala thing, if anyone wants to do so there is a really detailed and well-made Impala model for GTA SA, and as Fido said, the Jbeam is already perfect for that, and if he makes the station wagon and coupe there is also a Caprice wagon AND coupe by the same person with the same materials. etc. ready to be slapped onto those Jbeams, too.

Ive downloaded both zip files (original car, and addon config files) but it only shows one car in the car spawner menu. Ive put both files in the correct folder and it just never shows the other configs. Any help?

There is the main file, and there is the add-on file in the main post. You just have to download both and put them in the mods folder in your documents. It should work fine then.

You never have to put things in the games directory, mods are always in the mods folder in mydocuments/beamng.drive/

When the two zip files are in this folder, and their size are correct (26,5 and 188 Mb) then the mod works.
People have issues such as uncomplete downloads, files that are shorcuts instead of being the real thing, and it's always an issue that i can't do anything about.

This is a really simple mod, two zip files to download and that's it.

This looks like a great addon but here's one thing.
The car pack is the same name as the "mother" mod, which is this.
It conflicts with it, not even loading up any of the assets from the mod.
This is a very annoying bug and I really want to play it.
    Please fix it soon.

It's supposed to share the same name so IT CAN FUNCTION AS INTENDED!
It works perfectly for me in that exact configuration and has from the one and single time I installed it, please explain that.......

Dude, the author has pretty much summed it up in the post literally above yours: whatever the problem is,
it doesn't come from the uploaded files or their structure. You're gonna have to find how YOUR game install
deviates from standard because the issue lies there one way or another.

You know that you're describing how the mods work besides the official cars, right ?
If it's not the case then here it is : A mod for the Moonhawk will work because it has the same exact folder structure than the original car wich is vehicles/moonhawk/.
So it's the same for a mod, it can be splitted in 10 zip files, it will work all together. Same goes for the skins. People are making their own skins for my cars, some have been released already, they all have an inner folder structure that is vehicles/oldsfullsize/. And you know what ? They work !
Here i'm working on other presets, body type, and i've got them all in separate folders, just like this mod in two parts works. And everything is fine.
So like the kind person said just above, i'm affraid you'll have to look at the issue on your end and fix it yourself, soon or late.

The Folder for all BeamNG mods is mydocuments/beamng.drive/mods/(place your mod zip file here).

People, please, it's written 4 messages just above, take a bit of time and read before complaining. Please.

I've edited the first message with all the information clearly visible. So from now i won't answer anymore to this kind of question.

These wheels (already forgot what they're called) don't fit correctly to the tire. Might have been mentioned before or not.

Thanks for the report ! Those are 9 inches wide wheels ? If i remember well they are two size of rear Minilites wheels.

Pissh, something simple and credible would be to have a Caprice front end instead of this one, those cars are almost plug and play.
It's still some work to do properly but why not.

Will there be a Buick Electra front clip
by any chance since the Olds is also a B-body car?

everything is possible but i have not unlimited time to spend on this and i have to finish the station wagon and coupe first, bonus other things i have in mind.
So i can't answer to this apart from don't expect too much about those kind of parts. Remember that all this mesh and textures work is a lot of time.
i'd prefer that you just suggest things, and i'll see what i'll do instead of asking me to say yes or no just now, because i really don't know.
