Ben, i know that vid you've already posted, i already made the diesel engine noise, but thanks !
Finding video is fine, finding a proper loop for game sound in them is not that easy. Edit : not rejected this video but when i found the vid the noise was already made.

How's braking performance on the Oldsmobile, knowing that ABS wasn't around then?

With race parts, they brakes strong. Good old race disks and race drums.
But you could play it suicidal and put the 550 hp engine in the basic Delta 88 without any other changes, as you wish.

I'll betcha with the normal brakes, braking is absolutely horrible... because 1980s braking systems...

All the more reason to want this mod, especially with all the little details!

That's what I'm trying to find out, what was the deal with that van? I only saw it in that post but it was never brought up again?

I swear I saw a Oldsmobile parody of the Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino in that teaser post.

Although it's not the same, I can't help but point out how similar the style was. @SergentFido, did you use some inspiration of Starsky & Hutch for that Olds?

Nope. Look at the video. At 4:04 you can see that it's a Fire Chief car.

It's a hint at Smokey and The Bandit, the tan one was driven by the main antagonist (the smokey) the red one was actually a Canadian unit used in the third film if I'm not mistaken. But the cars used were primarily Pontiacs. Speculation though
