Didn't Gaben say something about not porting RoR vehicles to Beam ng, or is it that he wasn't going to port them? I'm not hating on the mod or anything.

 

I think it was the latter. Although when you look at his YouTube channel, there are one or two Gavrils (f.e. the G2S) that would be awesome in BeamNG.drive too.

 

Well, and I'm just spitballing here, but I believe Gabe doesn't want the RoR cars in the game because they are the old generation of cars. He doesn't want them in the new game because he wants a new generation of cars for the new generation of game. Which, if you think about it, is really rather smart. It helps to differentiate both games from each other.

 

Gabester doesn't want the RoR cars in BeamNG most likely because the level of detail is way lower than on the recent BNG cars.

He doesn't want anyone to port RoR cars to BNG but Atomix got a special permission from him to do this, so you probably shouldn't hope for more RoR cars coming here.

Hm, the inspiration by these old cars is good though. You can really improve them by that, look at the Barstow. I mean, nothing against the Bandit, but the Barstow looks way ccleaner with his straight-shaped front.

 

It's because the Gabester we know of realizes that his work is so much better than when he was at Rigs of Rods.

 

Is that what is called improving? I LOVE IT!

 

Surprised Gabester let you release this. A long time ago, someone ported it and was not allowed.

That's what I meant. Not really, I'm just trying to sound less like a bully. Which I always try not to do, I know how it is to hear bad things being spoken about you.
I guess I should cut off that sarcasm a little bit.

 

Love the mod! Me and my younger brother always talked about making one of these or the Burnside in real life.

You spelled it right. It's spelled sssssssssssssssiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. Note that ck is spelled short anyway.

Aside from that, you're right, it is ssssssssssssssiccccccccccccck.

 

I love this mod but there's one thing I don't like, and thats the way the wheel and tyre system is. I don't like the older system, I like the new system.Please update the mod Wheel and Tyre system to the one of the Game. Anyways, here are my rating's (Note that these are personal and you may think different about it)


High numbers are Positive (With Handling easy)
Design, Does the model look good? 10/10
Handling, Is it hard or easy to control? 10/10
Braking, Does it brake well? 10/10
Wheel and Tyre system. Since last update. 08/10 : I prefer the new system (The one from 0.5). Although if the game version was version 0.4, then 10/10.

Overal rating 09/10

I think the only thing that would need doing to use the new system is to change the slot names to be like this: wheel_*F or R*_*Lug nut count*
In the case of this car, wheel_F_5 and wheel_R_5.

 

I agree. Atomix should also update the suspension set ups so we can all adjust the damp rate, ride height, sway bar stiffness and more.
