1953 Burnside Special

It has the potential to be hell on wheels though. Somebody turns it into a gasser/drag racer, or even an old nascar stock car. Thats one of the reasons i like it so much: its potential to become something that gearheads think of fondly

It probably won't be a muscle car, but (in the common conjecture) the first muscle car was either the Oldsmobile 88, or the Hudson Hornet. Both of which predate this vehicle.

Either way, we'll certainly be seeing some form of bootlegger upfit.

That poll is kind of old. If they are going to make another vehicle based off peoples opinions, they should make a new poll or retake the old one.

 

The poll closed with the SBR4 in the lead, but Gabester isn't happy how everyone acted. Either this, the SBR4 or the '98 Pessima will come.

In my opinion, BeamNG isn't quite ready for a car like this. Although, every time I see this, I get more interested into this. I actually want this in the game soon.

Quite soon I think. If I am not mistaken, this vehicle is high on the priority list. It might be the next vehicle to be worked on after the SBR4 is done

What's this made out of Cast Iron or Steel?

 

Im 99.9% sure no car has ever been made out of cast iron, cast iron would be too brittle, hard, and heavy for a car. The only time cast iron is used for automotive use is in engine components.

 

As above. No car is made via casting. Unless that was a misunderstanding on your behalf in thinking that "cast iron" is a material, no, it just means iron is melted and poured into a mould.

Cars are pretty much exclusively constructed from sheet metal.

Iron to my understanding has not been used automotively in the 20th century. Steel is just iron with a bit of carbon added but is a far more suitable material. Iron rusts far more rapidly and is too soft.

 

Ah right ok should know not to believe like 99% of the stuff my aint and uncle tell me but will it be steel?
