I don't know if this has been mentioned before on this thread (I could check but its late at night for me at the time of typing this), but it occurred to me that the engine model had a dry air filter. Now I am aware that they existed but they came out in the mid-late 1950's, And considering the Special is a '53 and the Desoto Firedome (which the Burnside is HEAVILY based off of, with a sprinkle of bel air) had an oil bath air cleaner similar to what the remade T-series has, I don't see to why it hasn't been modeled period correct, unless its a later after-market air filter setup. Maybe the Beam Team will rectify this when the time comes for the Burnside to finally get it's revamp/remake.

Ah some one else who recognizes this, unfortunately my friend the Burnside is a little lacking in the model and parts department and hasn't had any major work done on it since it was released years ago. Hopefully in the near future this car will get its much needed content overhaul that'll rectify small inconsistencies like the aircleaner

The Burnsides steering column has an unnaturally high raked angle to it and the steering wheel itself is too small for the time period

I think the steering wheel is the right size, and the rest of the car is a bit too big. Compare the Burnside and the Bluebuck.

There is that too indeed. However when you look at steering wheels in cars of the early '50s, look at how they fill up the space inside, so big you can see almost a quarter of the wheel when looking through the windshield, plus most don't have the horn ring blocking any part of the speedometer or essential gauges due to small size

Yes it is true that its absolutely gargantuan, and even needs truck sized tires to fill the guards, though it wasn't actually uncommon to find an early '50s car a bit larger than one from the late '50s or early '60s, especially height wise; The 1956 Plymouth was a whole 6 inches taller than the 1957s and about an inch longer, though you would only see that if the two were parked side by side. So its fair to say that the size difference is about correct, just that the sizes need to equally come down a bit
