I am tired of rebadges in beam. They are always low effort and don’t change very much. Every car in this game, someone has rebadged it.
that is what a rebadge is, just another manufacturer wanting a model in that specific market and grabbing a bucket of badges. yeah, sometimes they are more in depth and I would like to see a bigger rebadge of something, the rebadges just add slightly more flavour and options
Yeah, not that many cars are rebadged. And people have rebadged EVERY car in this game. Theres a rebadge of the Vivace that only puts a bruckell badge on it to make it a bruckell.
shit like that is absolutely horrendous, I agree. Just a new steering wheel and slightly different bumper go a long way
I think if the car this mod is based on has rebaged versions the mod can also have some (as long as the necessary design changes, like the grilles, are made to match different brands)
Like when Dodge and Freightliner made theri versions of the Sprinter, they changed the grille. When someone decides to make a Brukell version of Marathon, he should change the grille as well
Anyone remember the first generation Volkswagen Crafter? That was based on the second generation Sprinter but it has a completely different front fascia to it. It's a less shameless change, but still very Sprinter all around.

i only accept rebadge mods that actually change the way the whole car looks instead of badge swapping. and i use some rebadge mods just because they include new engines
But in lore Wentward is a bus manufacturer and not vans, but this can be stretched, because those vans are sometimes used as intercity busses, like in Ukraine we have those vans used as an "express" bus, and express means that the driver would drive the van like a supercar
Who says that can’t change? We didn’t know Hirochi made heavy equipment or side by sides until 0.38 and 0.30 respectively.
i'll agree with ch on this one. rebadges are just dumb, like i get that manufacturers are the same way with their rebadges in real life but all they do in beamng is clog the configs.
