I highly doubt it. I use PT-BR ABNT2 layout, which is not uncommon at all, and my machine is an Acer Nitro AN517-51-50JS, which is not that old. You're right on one thing: It's weird. CTRL, SHIFT, ALT work fine. But other keys don't. Maybe I was "awarded" with issues? I literally switched 100% to Linux because vehicle triggers never worked for me on Windows. Not even support tickets could solve the issue.
Z (my modifier) + other keys work. It's just the mouse axes that don't. I understand if this is a limitation of the new input system, so take this as feedback. It seems that only the Static Modifiers work with mouse axes, and custom modifiers work with other kinds of inputs.
hey i need your help, i know this is off topic but, i move my userfolder to my documents, and i put them in a new folder, after that i renamed the folder and then put the beamng folder and the beamngdrive.ini in the new user folder and.... it reset all my game stuff like my mods, my cars, my controls, everything, but. it did not delete it, its just creating a new current folder that does not have any of my stuff in it, so then i tried moving my user folder back to the default location and its still doing it, what do i do? this may seem a lil childish but im a bit horrified. heres the following pics: UPDATE: i forgot to say after i moved both the beamng folder and beamngdrive.ini in the new user folder, i moved the stuff in the new userfolder like current and the backup current folders, THEN it all reset.
The new todays update/hotfix, of which we still have no patch notes, fixed the "Mouse-Axis input gets lost/dropped to 0% when hovering over a UI-App" error for me. Which means, i can finally play BeamNG again, as i use Mouse-Axis Steering since around 2017/2018 because and keyboard-driving is no fun. An before you ask why: i dont want to Pay multiple hundred or even thousands of bucks for minimum a Logitech, better a Sim-Racing Wheel-Equipment. Thank you Dev´s for fixing my game, keep up the great work!
Still no option or setting to disable the auto-pause when opening the menu? This 'feature' seriously bugs me. What's worse is that the default button combo to unpause physics is RB+View, but with the menu open, RB conflicts cause it's the bind to move to the next tab.
Fixed it for me too, but with the side-effect of returning the behavior of "if you let go of ALT+Mouse the axes stay where they were" that happened before rather than the "if you let go, axes return to 0%" that I tried to get working for MONTHS. The new behavior acted like the spring in real-life pedals, and was nice. Didn't like it... But thanks for fixing the UI App issue though. Of that we have no doubt, but some of us have other budgetary priorities, or lack space or just don't want it. I keep on gaming with my laptop's trackpad.
I've found some slight clipping between the Vanilla Randolph Trailer Bogie Suspension's Wheels and Tires. Also please fix the naming consistency between the T-Series and MD-Series wheels. Cheers!
I noticed a problem with the new asset link system in my https://www.beamng.com/resources/dry-rock-island-pbr.34047/ mod it doesn't seem to work when the texture path points to an dds. as a example: /levels/east_coast_usa/art/decals/t_asphalt_pothole_decal_b.color.DDS does no longer work but changing it to /levels/east_coast_usa/art/decals/t_asphalt_pothole_decal_b.color.png it works again. It not working with the original dds path defeats the purpose of backwards compatibility I think
