while im very very pleased with the specific EUDM and USDM parts for the bolide, it does leave a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. why can't all remastered vehicles have regional specific parts? i really think a trick is being missed by not adding euro compliant lights to all vehicles, as cars with red turn signals simply aren't legal in the EU. it just seems like an oversight, especially on vehicles like the covet and 200bx which obviously would've been sold outside of america. plus, a bastion with clear taillights and orange turn signals would look cool imo. just a thought
Loving the new update so far! One thing I've found though is the Bruckell Bastion Police variant grill and window lights don't come on. I cleared cache just to make sure and it still doesn't work. Pictures attached:
No... in fact, there isn't a single state featured in BeamNG that doesn't require them. I meant the 5mph bumpers. The configs even mention that they were required by law.
The vehicle page now needs to be updated for the bastion and the bolide and the level list for the PBR maps . Is there supposed to be no thread for the Bastion in official content forum? I know I know these are not about the game but about the site.
Hey all, I've looked through the bug report thread and am trying to find a solution to the problem in the image. The first time this image popped up was when I enabled mods for the game and it refuses to go away and forces me to use a safe mode for whenever I boot up the game, essentially nullifying configs. I've uninstalled and removed every single resource, multiplayer mod, part, piece, everything, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times now, cleared every type of cache I can find, and done every single type of trying to return the game to its original form that I could, and I still have no idea what to do. Could I get some help solving this?
I'm quite dissapointed the rally Bolide didn't get AWD, that's almost essential for a rally car. Same for the Pessima. It makes even less sense for the Pessima, since the 80s rally Pessima has AWD, while the 90s one doesnt.
The federal mandate for safe bumpers was relaxed for the 1983 model year, but the Bolide was already 2 years into production at that point.
Right. I thought they changed the production years for the Bolide because I only looked at them for the Corse.
The Traffic suboption "vehicle pooling" has a very performance heavy issue. Atleast in my mind that is not how its ment to be. The option describtion says that it will hide vehicles in order to create more variaty in the traffic. And the option does just(!) that. The cars get invinsible and you cannot collide with them. But they still make sounds and drive on the road like every other car (i can clearly hear them pass by me). So these "hidden" vehicles are still processed by the cpu and act like every other traffic car (while being invinsible). In other words this option is not just memory heavy but also cpu heavy. The "hidden" cars should actually not be processed at all until they are used again. Otherwise they put quite the toll on the cpu. My System contains a i5 9600K and a AMD RX 580. The game runs at 100 fps, if i dont limit it. Once traffic is on with pooling, the fps drop to 20 - 25. Without pooling to 40 - 50. Thats quite the heavy difference.
