Sometimes license plates appear grayed out. --- Post updated --- The selected interior color for the pessima does not match the rest of the interior. --- Post updated --- If you install a supercharger on the Barstow, the bonnet begins to shake.
*tested in safemode* poles in ecusa have no texture. didnt have it this morning and since its in safe mode i have no idea whats going on.
Delete the "levels" folder and your "art" folder in your userolder Back them up if you modified them and want to keep changes.
Adding on to these posts, I believe the license plate generation is somewhat broken ever since 0.23 came out, loading-wise. At first, I thought it was a minor oversight that would be fixed in future hotfixes, but a few months and several hotfixes later, the issue persists. Sometimes, the license plate loads properly on the first try, but when it doesn't, either the plate is partially loaded but is grayed out, or the plate doesn't load at all, becoming blacked out completely or just white and blank. Fortunately, this can be fixed by going into the parts selection menu and apply the license plate registration, which forces the game to reload the plates and then display them correctly and properly. But the issue returns whenever you add or delete a part in the parts selection menu, reset a vehicle with Ctrl+R, or spawn another vehicle to replace the current one. And speaking of which, the thumbnail generator in 0.23 is more of a mixed bag. On one hand, it generates thumbnails for configurations relatively quickly compared with previous versions, and said thumbnails are crisp and clear when paired with maxed out graphics settings. But on the flip side, as others have pointed out, the license plate registrations don't load fast enough for them to appear in the thumbnails, the game sometimes crashes while using the generator (I find that it happens more frequently when using the fullscreen display mode), and the game now generates them in .png format and with a resolution of 4000x2248 (which explains why the generated thumbnails are detailed) without any option to use the .jpg format or change the thumbnail's resolution. And there will be times when the showroom itself becomes a blank void; closing the game in that state crashes the game. And lastly, there's this issue with the paint colors in the vehicle selection menu where you have to select the color for the color preview to show up correctly now: Overall, these minor issues are what's been an annoyance in this major game update. I do hope all of said issues will be fixed in either another hotfix or the next major update to the game, since in previous versions, the plates rarely failed to load correctly at any given point, and the vehicle selection menu loads the corresponding default paint color preview for a particular configuration. Otherwise, those are my two cents into this discussion.
I don't know if this is intentional or if it has been reported yet, but the 800 Series ttSport bumper is missing.
I can't save custom configurations for Autobello Piccolina because of this error: It has something to do with colors for sure. When I manually edit .pc files, none of the colors display correctly. They display as: full red, 50% saturation, 47% brightness, 60% chrominess, 0% metallic, 100% roughness, 100% clear coat, 9% clear coat roughness. No matter what I set in the files, they display like that. I can modify them later and it all works fine. All of the other vehicles work fine. I have no idea what is the problem. Verified integrity, no mods, no changes, still broken. EDIT: Can save as long as the colors I used are vanilla. Once I change anything in them, it breaks.
I have noticed after the most recent update that all my Modes in the game are doubled, meaning I have 2 of everything. I did some looking around and I went to ocuments/BeamNG in there I see the following folders: .023 / settings / latest & version.txt and then inside the 0.23 I see all my traditional game folders including my Mods folder, but.....If I go back to my folder titled "latest" and look inside I see a exact mirror copy of the game folders that I see in the 0.23 folder, and here is the problem, when I launch the game its getting the mods from "Both" folders and thats the source of my "Double Mods"....BeamNG its reading the Mods folder from the 0.23 folder as well as the "latest" folder, if I delete the Mods folder from the from either of these folders it gets deleted from both folders....I took 2 Tylenol and that didnt help either.
The "latest" is not a folder, it's a link to the actual .23 folder. So that's not where your problem comes from.

The light pole at the Western Industrial spawn point has clipped through cars for several updates now. The Burnside continues to have this triangular spiking situation for heavy side impacts. It's been like this for several updates, too.
Burnside needs an update. From what I can see, some of the Jbeam is the most outdated of all the cars, yes even worse than Bolide. But weirdly the frame looks like it has been updated recently without notice, there's all the stuff the D-Series has in it like torsionbars, body mount nodes, really precise values, etc. But for example the taxi sign has a barely modified beacon light Jbeam to only fit the shape and position and attach to proper place lol, this needs to change. The car is a mix of old and new Jbeam which is really weird. Also the Pigeon remaster seems a bit rushed now that I've played with it for a longer time, many parts still have the old Jbeam but modified to behave stable on the new body weight, for example the stabilizers behave ultra weird overall and the beacon light attaches to the wrong place and causes console errors. Similarly the Wigeon looks like the most rushed dev made car in terms of Jbeam, most of the time it behaves alright but after some specific crashes it gets all shaky, it could be some clipping issue, also it's the most likely dev car to cause an instability on really hard crashes. Both Pigeon and Wigeon can probably be fixed easily with some tweaks to the Jbeam, I hope it gets resolved.
with traffic on the map of Italy in large cities, according to the type of chita verchia castafelo norte, the electrospelometer lags for all cars that have it, the game itself does not lag only the electrospidometer with a sharp increase in the arrow top if it rises smoothly does not lag on other maps there is no such thing.in Italy in some places the port sometimes castafelo and portino it does not lag but if you leave the port to the city the electrospidometer starts to lag the operative memory goes down to 2 3 GB in the best case 4 machines 12 16 GB 2666 2 x8 gb ryzen 5 3600 gtx 1650 gddr6 maybe this is a bug --- Post updated --- I also have this when I spawn on a pickup truck it's worth changing it to another car everything is loaded
Um... the website is slightly broken - the link from https://beamng.gmbh/beamng-drive/ to https://www.beamng.com/techdemo eventually redirects to https://cdn7.beamng.com/BeamNG-Techdemo-v2.1.zip?md5=7ihFYSfIPiaYtwU0Ob6Hrg&expires=1631753040 which gets me a 404 Not Found I'm not sure where to put this but my friend wanted to try a Techdemo and the old one isn't up but the new one isn't either
