0.22 Discussion thread | Use Safe Mode before reporting

Performance absolutely tanked after the update, rendering the game pretty much unplayable

 

The thing i really dont understand sometimes it will use the pc to its max and sometimes not i often have only 40fps and then suddenly the game decides to use my pc fully and bam over 100fps

 

this curb on the ramp near the race track in automation map clips with the car and its components, kinda swallowing the car too (also textures on it look a bit off)

 

Italy doesn't seem to update.
Checked in normal and safe mode.

Other maps are updated:

All photo's are taken in Safe Mode, thats why my resolution is so bad.

 

For testing I installed windows new, installed newest GPU driver, CPU Chipset Driver. etc...

The Performance is still the same. Its something broken in the Program Code i think....


After all that i can install the backup where i made before i cleaned up the SSD.... just to be sure that the issue doesnt comes from my pc.

I have usually 40+ there with 6 cars and Ryzen 1600 and 1050 ti. Something underperforming of you.

 

Collisions forbid you from going up this set of stairs. There is also a small extra triangle visible extruding from the staircase:

Draw distance for the LODs on the arrow signs in Utah seems to be a bit too short, causing the change between models to be highly noticable.

 

I don't get how with every update people complain how the performance has gotten much worse and yet I am never affected by this, everything works fine on my end, aside from the audio cutting stuff

The 'Headlightsrealistic' mod seems to do that... Makes sense since the LeGran headlights changed somewhat.

 

Why did the game folders with screenshots and mods move to a different place??

There may not be, but it makes those scenarios totally unenjoyable as the suspects pretty much stop themselves without your intervention

 

More powerful PC? I don't have potato but it isn't a monster either and I can tell when game have improvements in performance and where it get worse. People on much slower PC will see even bigger performance drop. People on NASA machines may not see any difference. Simple.

 

My performance certainly got worse, it went from ~80 FPS to ~50 FPS. Make sure you're running the game full screen, somehow it improves on performance from what I've noticed

Hey developers and forum maintainers, there should be a thread called "Game Breaking Mods for <game version>" This should be a thread dedicated to listing mods that break the game, what they break, and how to fix them (if possible).
