I'm editing that post; prob was solved, solution was found, I know how to report, won't do it while inebriated from here on out, thanks folks.
Themes are a deprecated features from our side. They are there just because we haven't removed them yet. What's your GPU?
I've heard this before, but may I ask exactly why themes are on the chopping block? Dark modes have shown a huge increase in popularity in the past three years or so, and it would finally provide an excuse to implement dark-mapped thumbnails (which I have proved to myself look better after spending the entire day taking thumbnails of every configuration for a mod I plan to make). Edit: The mod is here! https://www.beamng.com/threads/dark-vehicle-thumbnails.67119/
The UI is getting an overhaul soon. https://blog.beamng.com/ui-sneak-peek/ On the note of mod compatibility, the now deprecating Bandito mod seemed to cause some meshes to not appear properly, mainly for fascia.
Interesting, I hadn't seen that. Still, it seems quite a ways away, and Naedox made it sound like they've been planning to remove themes for a while now and just never got around to it. The reason for that is the new fascias separated the grille/headlights and valance, causing problems in the Bandito fascia for the old system. That sucks, because while I didn't use the Bandito all that much, I loved the more Ford-like grille and thought it looked great on the regular D-Series. At least the new grille options include chrome with black bars, somewhat resembling a Chevrolet, but I'd love to see just the Bandito's fascia make a return. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard for someone with more time than me to do. (In fact, just thinking about it, I think all you've have to do is copy the Bandito grille flexbody sans valance into a copy of the new fascia's Jbeam, then sort out the materials.)
Hi, I've noticed that in Italy, in the parking of the airport the hitbox of some poles are bigger than their visuals. In the image I'm actually touching the pole despite being able to see a big gap between the car and the pole. EDIT: On a different issue, maybe due to the changes to the d-series, I'm able to tear the radiator apart and still not have a radiator leak nor the engine overheating
traffic is a bit buggy on west coast usa, it tends to stay too close to the sidewalk and it usually runs into poles.
You've done a great job of ruining the game. In version 0.18 My mods loaded Ok. In version 0.18.1 they are loading longer and at that time all my PC freezing including sound, mouse cursor, background apps like the browser. Great. In all 0.17 versions, everything was ok.
question, in the video posted by beamng themselves on the utah revamp it showed an offroadHopper? is that to come or already a thing and my game is just being dumb?
For some reason the nitrous starts working late if it's set to start at 1st gear and lowest possible RPM, is this a bug or just something that supposed to happen?
The bus routes are crashing upon loading for me, it initially worked for a while when I tried on JRI, then the game crashed crashed so I restarted into WCUSA, crashed again, turned off the traffic toggle, crashed again. All upon loading except the initial attempt which let me drive around a bit
No. This is not about mods. It's about game engine. Mods based on stock cars Jbeam. They should work fine. If mods broken they will not work at all or game will crash but game freeze PC while loading.
Looks like just the main menu is affected with that new UI? (Looks good but car menu looks the same I'd hope that gets an overhaul also) especially if the custom themes option will be removed? That seems like it will suck especially if theres no alternative.
Found an issue with the doors on the d15. After a hard crash, there's chunks missing out of the doors as if they're made of plastic.
