idk if this is a proper "bug" but the car selector is taking a lot longer to load than before which sucks cos i keep thinking the game has frozen lol but the maps are loading sooooooo much faster than before which is amazing!
Just some feedback on the bus stops. (yes I know you said some are out of place but just some suggestions) Due to the amount of stuff I have I will put everything under a spoiler for those phone users and for anyone else's ideas or reporting problems. Spoiler On East Coast USA this is how I view the visual bus route should be Key: Red: Bus route Blue: Bus stop Yellow: Alt bus stop (made a error the bottom yellow one is suppost to be blue woops) Green: Alt route Utah is kinda of a mess when it comes to making a working bus route and it really should'ent have one since its extremely rural. If it has to have a bus line this is what I see. Key Red: Main bus line Orange: Main Bus line other entrance- exit Light Blue: scenic route. Green: Alt route for scenic route Dark blue: Bus stop Purple: Scenic bus stop. Since JRI is a tourist and scientist island now with no noticeable population all bus stops are either A: a short stop to look at the scenery, at a beach, at a historic site or in use facilities such as: Port, Volcano top Airport, Fort ect. The factory and quarry seem no longer in use. If I am wrong then a bus stop for the factory. For West Coast USA don't ask since its probably correct.
One thing I've noticed, going through a bus route on WCUSA, the transmission on the highway version of the bus (idk about others) has some weird shift going on. After first gear, it shifts into second, only to immediately shift into third and back into second. It also seems kind of jumpy when downshifting under full throttle. The first to second to third to second shift seems to be because the shift point for 2nd gear is set at 1850 rpm, and first and second gears are too close together. The solution would be to either up the shift point or change the gear ratios.
Hydros, lua and some math They just lock the joint to an angle matching the predicted curve when cornering.
I love this update although I feel like the speed minimum on the first mission on the bus campaign is a little to high --- Post updated --- also I found some spiky terrain between the freeway and drag strip
6 Speed Auto bus under full throttle goes from 1st to 2nd to 3rd then drops back to 2nd. Goes into 3rd too early
As an adittion to my earlier post about the Moonhawk being rev limited stock, having rev limiters on carburated vehicles is impossible even with aftermarket modifications, the closest thing you could get is a spark cut limiter, wich would have a very low cut time and some backfiring due to the unburnt fuel going into the exhaust.
Having an issure with sound. Every time I try to choose the correct sound setting, my game crashes. I cleared the cache and started in safe mode and the car sounds bugged and I could only hear the engine and no other ambient noises. Looked in the console and it was spamming SFX error codes. Very odd issue.
Okay, I gotta say this. I think the Wentward is probably one of the best additions to BeamNG.drive so far. Not only is it the first bus, but it's also a pioneer in some aspects. I absolutely admire the fact that it has sounds other than the horn and engine, like the reversing alarm and the air compression sounds when the bus either leans over or the doors are opened. In fact, I didn't even know buses could kneel before this. And that Speed Easter Egg. I like it. BTW, I don't know if some of those sounds have been added to other vehicles like the T-Series and H-Series yet. I haven't checked yet. I think the "Hero" is my favorite configuration. The JATO is simply the best. EDIT: I can't believe I said "Wentworth" I am so stupid >_<
Great update! I am waiting for more with impatience //EDIT Why the tuning setting for the stage 3 turbocharger was turned off? (for example SBR4)
The air compressing and reversing sounds have indeed been added to the T-Series as well, which is great as it makes the T-Series so much more real! The engine sound was also improved. For the H-Series I don't know as I haven't checked either, but I guess (hope) that it has the reversing sound as well.
I can't believe the small details they introduced in this update. The bus is terrific and the bus route feature is phenomenal. I also noticed they added BFD, where the tail lights flash under hard braking in the ETK 800 Series. Surreal how these little changes change the gameplay tremendously.
For some reason, the game closes when pressing Alt+Tab, but it appears as it's still running in the background.
There's a sound bug with the internal cameras on the bus. Whenever you look left/right, the engine sound disappears until you move the camera to front/back again Also, what does taking the air filter off do? Didn't notice any change
Just something I noticed on the bus (which is a pretty nice rebranded Gillig Advantage), is that the doors open backwards, according to the door rails on the inside of the door. The rails are on the outside versus the inside, which probably won't help anyone trying to get in or out of the bus.
