The creator has said in the discord thread that its still in the works, he just needs the time to work on it.
My disires have been pretty much the same since when I started playing in 0.35. Mainly some australia (Like a holden inspired car) or england...
I downloaded it and it won't drive at all.

From what I could understand, The Bruckell Caldera mod caused the issue apparently, I could be wrong.
