see, here's the thing, as they said you can't easily do that on GeForce NOW
the sheer amount of traffic to download it broke the repo for some time
granted, official repo support won't solve the risk
you can switch from the command line by adding -gfx vk for Vulkan, probably -gfx dx or dx11 for DirectX.
plus likely coupled with the repo situation and the security hotfixes we got
because it's extremely hard to make quality free mods? also who says they got rid of it?
could be something related to possible exploits?
we don't have any confirmation it's abandoned.
We already saw a version of it on the MAN truck mod, would be cool to see an official spin on it :)

Welp, unfortuately can't help you on my end because I use OpenSUSE Tumbleweed and a 5700XT.

It just gives this sense of immersion that not many other games do, and the fine system for police and speed cameras just adds a sense of danger...
that actually seems like a really cool idea, would tie in nicely with stuff using money already, like insurance and fuel.
