99% of the time that is the case. only 1 map without a preview works. All of the others give me a grey screen.

I can confirm that that works. Just tested it.
Just take the file that you have attached on the OP and change that one thing. Then you have your new release secret and the old one working right.
If it drives you nuts you could upload a hotfix update for the problem.
I tested with that map because it ran smooth as silk on my old (far far worse) computer.
