that happens with me with every car (beamng cars or mods), still haven't find the solution, and it isn't the mod
i don't know if you arleady know, but the 1.2L engine is breaking up after you turn it off (with the most updated version that MrX13415 posted)
sadly it's paid, all good mods is paid, that's the saddest part
