Open the game, go to the repository thing in the main menu, then mods, and then on the right side there should be a button to open the mods...

If you think about it it's kinda realistic. Notice how everyone on the freeway slows down when they see a grey explorer/taurus? Same thing...

Odd, how much ram do you have? Also how many mods? What settings are you trying to run the game at? I'd recommend a mix of medium and high on that...

Yes you can float gears without damaging them. You must be very precise as there are no simulated synchros ingame.
