  1. Large update for BeamNG 0.27! Sound settings, universal tire pressure system and more!

    Agent_Y
As you may know, BeamNG dropped the biggest update ever recently, which gave me lots of new possibilities to expand this mod! The current update is big enough to be called version 7.0! So without further ado, let's explore all the changes in this update.

    Starting with the big stuff...
    • New sound override settings! Included in a new sub-slot of the license plate, they give you options to disable or replace some impact, scrape and wind sounds. WARNING: The truck horn sound is pretty loud and won't stop so be careful what you replace with it! These are not even all of the options you can choose:

    • When you activate this slot, you also get an extra tuning setting that lets you edit the interior muffling of the car. You can disable it completely which is useful for open-air cars.

    • Another big addition: Universal tire pressure management system! It is equippable in another new slot, make sure you select the correct variant for your car:
      tpms1.png
    • Once you equip it, you can control it from the radial menu. Like with the Stambecco, first you need to select the axles you want to inflate/deflate the tires on, then click inflate or deflate, and click stop when the pressure level is ok for you.

    • The system is fully adjustable in the Tuning menu, allowing you to edit the minimum and maximum pressure and the equalize flow on each axle, and additionally the max inflate and deflate flow which basically affects how fast the pressure changes are. By default all the values are realistic but you can crank them up to extreme tire-bursting levels if you want lol.

Some less revolutionary, but still major changes next.
    • Stambecco and Wydra engines now available in engine swaps category. New transmission swaps include the Wydra single range centrifugal clutch transmission and a custom manual transmission with centrifugal clutch. Stambecco rangebox with all the gear ratio options added to rangebox edit. Stambecco and Wydra intakes and ECUs, as well as the race Bruckell intake from the Dunekicker, are available for the engine edit parts.
    • New radiator swaps include all the new desert truck radiators (the difference from normal radiators is that they work even with the ignition turned off) and the Rockbasher twin radiators.
    • Added updated transfer case, rangebox, output shaft and halfshaft swaps that support the new UI buttons. Left the old ones too since many people seem to hate the new ones. New customizable rangebox with new UI support also allows you to use low range with RWD. New semi truck rangeboxes support high and low 6WD and low range 2WD, in addition to the normal modes.
    • New locked differential added to the differential swaps which simulates multi-link chain drive like the Wydra hubs have. Additionally added halfshaft swaps which act like long driveshafts on left and right side, they only work on the Wydra because no other cars have this setup.
    • Added differential steering front halfshafts, which use brakes and chain drive to slow down wheels on 1 side and steer, taken from the Wydra. THEY ARE EXPERIMENTAL AND MAY NOT WORK ON ALL VEHICLES. They are confirmed to be working on the Wydra and the Covet. To use them you should remove the normal brakes. On normal cars they will work in addition to the normal steering. Covet config included that showcases this feature. It drives very bad on roads but surprisingly good in sand.
    • Added wheel hub swaps to Stambecco and Wydra so you can use normal wheels on them. THIS ONLY WORKS ON THE 4 WHEEL VARIANTS.
    • Added Stambecco and Wydra wheels, tires and hubcaps to normal cars. Stambecco ones are available on 5-lug and 6-lug wheel hubs, the Wydra ones only on the 5-lug ones. Stambecco hubcaps include the TPMS valves (not required to use the universal TPMS). The large Wydra wheels include an option to put even bigger tires on them, those are the tires from the Large Tire props. Like the props, they are extremely heavy and require lots of torque to drive.

Now some smaller QOL changes and fixes...
    • Thrusters work again, they are now activated by key bindings. The main ones are configured by default. You can find the bindings in the Vehicle category at the bottom, below the weird vehicle controls:
      new_thruster_bindings.png
    • The main settings have been finally separated into categories, and the descriptions have been updated. It will hopefully make the usage of the mod easier.

    New configs added:
    • Stambecco Fire Truck On Fire, it burns constantly but it's quite fire resistant actually, and also pretty fast
      config1.png
    • Wydra Prototype, you can guess what engine and transmission it has, it's very underpowered
      config2.png
    • WyDrag, V8 and CVT swapped Wydra, very fast and unsafe
      config3.png
    • Dunekicker Stock, well, as stock as it can get
      config4.png
    • Rockbasher Drag, goes 300 km/h and does enormous wheelies if you floor it
      config5.png
    • Autobello Autobuggy Big Wheels V2... Yeah.
      config6.png
I also updated some old configs with new features from this update:
    • Autobello Cardboard redesigned, makes cardboard-like sound and can be easily lifted by wind
      cardboard.png
    • LeGran 4x4 Turbodiesel Lifted Offroad redesigned slightly, new transfercase, Stambecco wheels and tires with tire pressure management valves, of course TPMS system included
      4x4offroad.png
    • Grand Marshal V8 Sport Rusty: Redesigned slightly, better engine damage
      rusty.png
    • T-Series 6x6 Offroad Monster: Redesigned slightly for more ground clearance, new transfer case, tire pressure management system
      6x6offroad.png
    • Burnside Indestructile Draxi: Added BeamBox
    • Vivace French Car has better damage and makes glass break sounds when something breaks off
    • Autobello Autoballo makes ball like sounds and features the tire pressure management system
    • Woody LeGran makes wood sound, has more wooden physics and can catch on fire easier
    • H-Series configs: Added funny sounds

And that's basically it for this update, already quite a lot. Have fun and report issues or suggestions if you have any! Have fun!
