READ FIRST!!! Adds miles of overlanding trails to the vanilla Utah map. Each trail should be marked at the beginning with a difficulty rating sign. The green signs with white bridges are the easiest (1-3/10). Then blue with a bridge (4-6/10). Then Blue with a red-topped T (7-9/10; body damage is to be expected). Finally, the circular red "do not enter" sign is the hardest. (10/10 body damage is highly likely and 38” tires are recommended). Then there are campsites. Along the trail, you will see turnoffs marked with campsite signs. To make it from one campsite to the next by dark, I recommend setting the Day/Night cycle to about 15min. But feel free to tweak it based on what's fun for you. These campsites are great photo/challenge opportunities. OR, if you want to play it by the rules to make it a little more fun, play with some friends (or alone) and follow the campsite rules:
1. The difficulty of the trail leading to the campsite is marked with danger signs (1-3 danger signs)
2. Campsites are the only place you can repair.
***Optional, but I recommend the individual parts repair mod by Jesus Goose to make it more exciting. You can repair one part of your vehicle at 1 danger sign campsites, 3 repairs at 2 danger sign campsites, and a complete vehicle repair at 3 sign campsites.
3. Enjoy the views! Campsites are intentionally placed in scenic areas around the map, especially the ones marked with the "scenic view" sign.
4. Set the day/night cycle to 15min (+/- 2 min depending on the person)
As of V1.0, there are 15+ trails and 10 campsites added to the Utah map. Can you reach the end of all of them?
***Future plans
- add more trails
- make more of the green trails blue
- whatever the player feedback suggest
