Outdated Updated Shiftlogic Automatic Transmissions 4.34

Makes slushboxes more comfortable to drive. Now with electric motors

  1. Electric Motor Update

    default0.0player
Tuned the electric motors on the eSBR and FCV
Note: For the mod to work correctly, you must choose all(one or two) motors to the modded ones and choose the modded(in order to redirect motor information to the modded motor(s)) gauges in the parts menu

    Custom logic:
When the vehicle speed is sufficiently high a "coastdown" throttle is compared with the throttle pedal, when the throttle pedal is lower, regenerative braking is applied. This improve the vehicle speed control with the gas pedal, similar to engine braking. When brake is used, additional regen is applied to reduce brake wear.
When the vehicle speed is very low a tiny bit of creep throttle is applied to prevent vehicle from fully stopped, similar to DCT/SCT creep logic. Also the transition between power and regen are seamless, regen intensity will also gradually reduce according to lateral acceleration.

    Tunable parameters:
The modded logic is tunable similar to ECU mapping IRL
Coastdown Speed: Vehicle Speed where coastdown throttle is zero motor torque
Creep Speed: Vehicle Speed where creep torque is no longer applied
Coastdown Throttle: Coastdown throttle where the speed is sufficiently high
Creep Throttle: Creep throttle where the speed is very low
Coastdown Regen: Regen torque proportional to the reduction of throttle pedal
Brake Regen: Additional regen torque proportional to brake pedal
No Creep Brake: Disable creep with this amount of brake pedal
Regen Maximum Side Acceleration: Disable regen if lateral acceleration is higher than this.
