Beta Universal Downforce Tuner 1.0

This adds adjustable aerodynamic downforce to almost any car in the game. There's no wing bolted onto the body, it's completely invisible. You just feel the extra grip and tune all of it from the Tuning menu.

You get separate front and rear downforce sliders, so you can set the balance however you want. Add more to the front for sharper turn in, or load up the rear for stability at speed. There's also a drag slider if you want to trade some top speed for grip, plus five presets to get you going: Street, Track, Drift, Time Attack, and Max Grip. From there you can fine tune everything yourself.

On the standard cars the downforce is true aerodynamics. It runs through the game's own aero system, so it even shows up in the Downforce Test app and builds with speed the way real downforce should. It also works on modded cars through the license plate slot, where it applies the force directly instead. That version won't show in the aero app, but it still plants the car nicely.

To use it on a normal car, open the parts selector, go to the Additional Modification slot, and add the Universal Downforce Tuner. Then adjust it under the Downforce Tuner category in the Tuning menu. For a modded car, use the License Plate Design slot and add the Universal Downforce Tuner (mods) version instead. Just pick one or the other on any given car, never both, or you'll end up with twice the downforce.

It covers the full vanilla car lineup. I left the big trucks and buses out, since downforce isn't really their thing. No dependencies, and it doesn't touch or replace any of the game's files, so it's safe to run alongside other Additional Modification mods like my exhaust and boost ones.
