Alpha Tyre Wear and Thermals Redux 0.19.1

A continuation of Luuks Tyre Thermals and Wear Mod

  1. wear due to non-ideal temperature

    Zesty_Maple98
Wear is now slightly increased when driving outside of ideal temperatures, and slightly decreased overall to compensate. This means that some thought needs to go in when deciding to push the car into the yellow temperature range, as it (still) provides slightly more grip but much more wear and is less sustainable in the long term than driving around ideal temperatures
  2. wear due to non-ideal temperature

  3. Tyre UI no longer creates overlap

    Zesty_Maple98
The issue of multiple tyres overlapping is fixed for most, if not all, cases.
However, some wheels on some vehicles are sometimes in the incorrect position on the UI. This is due to having no reliable and straightforward way of retrieving the placement of the wheel on the vehicle and a more robust solution is in the works.
  4. New wear vs grip curve

    Zesty_Maple98
Tyres will no longer be dead after about 80% condition due to new wear vs grip curve taken from real data. They will be usable for much longer
  5. Universal brake cooling sliders and massive thermals rework

    Zesty_Maple98
    Changes:
    - Each vehicle has their own set of front brake cooling and rear brake cooling sliders, these slider can found found within the vehicles tuning settings to influence how hot/cold the brakes get and, as a result, how hot/cold the tyres get. These are saved with the .pc vehicle configuration file so the settings will be saved in configs and can be shared with others.
    - Thermals rework with big help from Cyborella! Using sim data and real world data so the results will be far...
  6. Extreme temps made more brutal for grip, wear rate lowered significantly

    Zesty_Maple98
    - Extreme temps made more brutal for grip
    - Wear rate lowered significantly
    - Lateral Gs now generate temperature better
  7. Thermals rework

    Zesty_Maple98
    - Thermals rework, tyre heat should be much more dynamic
    - Grip due to tyre temperature is more forgiving
    - Significantly increased accuracy of camber detection
    - Camber and tyre loading now matters more for temps
    - Temperature buildup reduced on loose surfaces, this will also lower wear
  8. Rebalanced heat accumulation and street tyre grip due to temp. also only race tyres start preheated

    Zesty_Maple98
Note: some drivetrain configurations (i.e. FWD) cause excessive heat build up in the driven wheels. In real racing, this can be fixed with adjusting brake/rim cooling ducts which have not yet been implemented. A UI for adjusting settings such as this will be implemented in the future
