This is an absolute masterpiece. The torque vectoring works beautifully, and it really is fantastic proof of what is possible in this game. I am, however, very excited for the arrival of traction control, as at this point, this car is kind of like an embodiment of r/Tiresaretheenemy.

Author's ResponseReally glad you appreciate it! It's like a real-world engineering challenge. Traction control is on the way - I just need to find the time to make it happen.

the accursed one was a bit creepy when i first saw it... explain it please

Author's ResponseWhen someone asked me for a lower power version, the mere idea caused eldritch horrors to break through into our world: https://www.beamng.com/threads/saber-one-motor-per-wheel-electric-car.50865/page-3#post-1085355
Maybe I took it a little too far, after all a 500 hp version makes a lot of sense.

Excellent, although you *really* need to work on low-speed handling - I would like to actually drive it, not just drift!
-
Author's ResponseThanks, traction control is on the way, but in the meantime, you could try going into the tuning menu and reducing the Zero Throttle Gain. Although if you're using keyboard to drive then you may just have to wait for TC.

Awesome mod and clever idea! Would love the ability to lock the steering rack to have tank drive, dunno if it is feasible. Overall a great mod and something different to play around with.
-
Author's ResponseThanks, the idea was inspired by the Rimac Concept cars, the second one has almost 2000hp IRL. Tank drive is definitely possible. I'll give it a look, maybe as a novelty mode in the future.

the handling is a little janky ( i did fix it with parts from another config mod), but the performance is beyond comparison. the high end one i topped out at 351 mph. freaking insane!

Author's ResponseIf you've found something that helps I'd love to see it at https://www.beamng.com/threads/saber-one-motor-per-wheel-electric-car.50865/page-3#post-1077615, I'm kinda throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what works here :)

This is epic, but it needs some work to make it handle better at lower speeds.
-
Author's ResponseYup, lots of tuning still to be done, it's still very much WIP. I'm not happy with the way it seems to get stuck in hairpin turns and won't go - I'm looking into it.

Author's ResponseI'll call it object drifting and that's my final offer.
