Many people wanted that, and now I know how to do it so I did it. The rockets have a new slot now where you select how to control them:
The binding has to be set manually, and can be found at the bottom of the Vehicle tab:
Have fun with this improvement! If you want the binding option to be the default, then tell me and I'll change it.
