Overview
Experience a high-tech evolution of the SBR4. This mod introduces a custom-built mild hybrid powertrain designed to balance modern efficiency with the SBR platform's signature sportiness.


Features
- modernized 1.6L Flat 4 engine
Based on the Sunburst's 1.6L engine variant, this ICE has been updated to modern standards for higher torque output and improved burn efficiency.

- interconnected MHEV system
A seamless blend of power featuring a 60HP electric motor unit and twin E-Turbos.
- Torque Supplement & Starter: The electric unit provides immediate torque assistance to the ICE and serves as a high-speed starter.
- Lag-Reduced Turbos: Electric motors inside the turbochargers accelerate the turbo during turbine spool-up, reducing overall lag.
- Energy Recovery: The system regenerates energy from exhaust pressure that would normally be wasted through a wastegate.

- 8-Speed dual-clutch transaxle
This gearbox is fully integrated with the MHEV logic to provide lightning-fast, yet smooth shifts.
The electric motor actively assists the ICE in reaching target RPMs by spinning up the engine for downshifts and rapidly pulling RPMs down for upshifts.

- adapted eSBR Design
Discrete design changes allow the hSBR to maintain the clean and modern aesthetic attributed to the eSBR, making the exhaust tips and badges the only optical way to differentiate between the models.

A powerful AWD configuration that increases displacement for a more aggressive drive.
- Specs: Pairs a low-friction 2.0L Flat-4 with the S2-derived E-Turbos and more active chassis components.
- Output: 380HP combined system power.


hSBR 500 'Typhoon'
The ultimate expression of performance. Features hybrid ICE/eSBR styling to manage extreme cooling requirements.
- Specs: Adapts the MHEV system to a full AWD SBR4 S2 powertrain with high-performance E-Turbos and active suspension.
- Output: 500+ HP combined system power.
