Can you add adjustable speed boost pad?

Ignite chaos and boost performance with Gimmick Pad: the ultimate successor to Dash Plate

Now this is the kind of mod I was looking for for my physics-bending experiments. Combining the dash plates with very fast supercars and the radial cheat menu mod will be a delightfully deadly combination, I predict.
-
Author's ResponseHaha, that sounds like an absolutely chaotic combination! Glad to hear the mod fits your physics-bending experiments so well. Have fun pushing the cars to their absolute limits!

PhateonSVersion: 0.3.3- 4/5,
The mod is barely fixed, on instant boost pads 999km/h the wheels still break off on every car, but the 500km/h pads and below work fine
-
Author's ResponseThanks for testing and for the feedback! I'm glad to hear the 500 km/h pads are working fine now.
As for the 999 km/h pads, thanks for letting me know the wheels are still breaking under that extreme acceleration. I'll keep tweaking the settings to see if I can improve it further. Thanks for your help!

Hello, Mr ますくろ I hope you're doing well.
I'm writing to let you know that your mod "dashplate" (the speed mod) is no longer working properly after the latest BeamNG Drive update (version 3.9).
The issue is that the mod works fine under 200 mph, but once I exceed 200 mph, the car's wheels fly off completely and the car becomes undriveable. It seems like the new update broke the mod's compatibility at high speeds.
Would you please consider updating and fixing it when you have time? I really appreciate your work and effort.❤️-
Author's ResponseHello! Thank you so much for the polite message and for the detailed report!
Regarding the issue where wheels fly off at high speeds (over 200 mph), I’ve received similar reports from other users as well after the 0.39 update.
I'm currently working on a fix and plan to tune down the sensitivity of the Dash feature in an upcoming update so the wheels can handle the high speeds better. Please stay tuned for the fix!
Thank you so much for your support and kind words!

Hello author, I would like to ask, in the new version of the acceleration mode, when placing it on the downhill section, the vehicle will fly up when passing over it, but in the old version, this does not happen. The old version is ground-penetrating acceleration. Am I doing something wrong in my adjustment? Or have you changed the logic?
-
Author's ResponseThank you for the detailed report! I wasn't aware of this bug until I saw your comment, so I'm really grateful you pointed it out.
The behavior you're describing — the vehicle flying up when the pad is placed on a downhill section — is a bug that was introduced in the new version. It's not something you're doing wrong; the acceleration logic was changed and it seems to have caused this issue. I'll look into it and fix it in the next update. Sorry for the trouble!

-
Author's ResponseThanks! I'm so happy to hear you're having a lot of fun with it. Enjoy the gimmick!

NDP195Version: 0.2.0- 5/5,
Meaning, how to fix the code so that the car can fly vertically into the sky?
-
Author's ResponseIt is possible to accelerate up and down by changing the variable vec on line 49 of "vehicles\dashplate_mathkuro\lua\controller\dashplate.lua" to the Z-axis direction.
Or, should I add a function to this mod that lets it fly vertically into the sky?

Hank_MontgomeryVersion: 0.1.0- 5/5,
Great, but the starts lagging when I spawn two or more of these. Can you fix that?
-
Author's ResponseThank you for your review, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
However, I tried it in my environment, and even when I spawned 10 Dash Plates, the FPS remained at an average of 40.
(Of course, I tested it with BeamNG.drive v0.32.1)
Could you please tell me more about the situation in which the lag occurs?

Amazing! It's pretty funny to see AI drive over them, and it works very well.
Maybe you can add a version that is completely flat so I don't fly into the air when driving fast?-
Author's ResponseThank you for the review! Your ideas are really great!
I will add a flat version in the next update!
