Love the mod and love the quality. I would love to see an ability to adjust both front and rear wing angle, also an option to change the pit limiter between 37 and 50 mph, the two speed limits I've seen used, other than that, great mod, keep it up!

This is one of the best mods ever!!!!
But I have a suggestion for you: you should lower the horsepower of the car. The horsepower of this mod is too much; a standard formula 2 car only has about 650 horsepower and this has like 860 horsepower, which is more than a regular F1 car! The reason of my suggestion is to make the mod more realistic, which this mod is already one of the most realistic mods in the forum, handling wise. Anyways, I'm proud of your mod and the positive reviews you've gotten, Lucas! :D -

I have not been playing BeamNG.drive for long, but I can say this is probs one of the best mods I have installed. If I had to think if 3 bad things that this mod has before going to sleep, I would probably end up with insomnia. Great work, Lucas!

This is awesome and it actually feels pretty realistic with my FFB wheel. The other formula cars are not even close in comparison.

Absolutely beautiful work.
Is it possible to add drivers/ragdolls onboard in the future updates? I laughed very hard to see the UV car says "I'm hungry" in Japanese xD
Handles, sounds, and modeling, everything is top notch. Thank you for your hard work!-

Thank you for the kind words :)
Sadly I've already said before that I wouldn't add drivers because it limits the steering angle, they're hard to make properly, I'd have to ask the author of the driver model for permission and overall no car in BeamNG has working drivers without mods.

Amazing Mod! Hope to see a Formula 1 Mod around here. Ik the fr17 is here but i dont like the screaming engines. I would LOVE a V6 Hybrid Engine in BeamNG

This mod is amazing! Can you please make a clear halo where it obstructs the view of the driver, also to would be nice if DRS could be set to auto but that's not as important.

I really like this mod. The balance and tyre grip are totally accurate, except the brake. Real F2 car could reach 3.9G on brake but yours only does around 1.6~1.8G in my test. Maybe increase some brake force a bit as default setting?

Literally the best formula car available at the moment, It is really enjoyable to drive this thing.
Also the Jbeam is really good for a formula car. -

Without a doubt the best formula mod. It's really engaging and exciting to drive but also fun to crash. A lot of effort has been put into this, so it's definitely worth a download. The only issues I have with it are:
- As stated in the description, the suspension is really soft.
- The wheel break-off is really weird and unpredictable. It could be that F2 wheels break off differently, I'm not sure, but I expected them to break like F1 wheels, where the impact fully breaks the suspension and the only thing tying the wheel to the car is the tether. What happens with this mod is, in case of an impact, the suspension is either strong enough to just bend really badly while still being intact (almost like iRacing's old open-wheeler damage model) or the wheel breaks off completely with no tether attached.
Overall a great mod, again, 100% worth a download. -

This is hands down the best formula car mod I have ever tried. fantastic work to all involved. love the way all the panels gets ripped off in high speeds if the cars bump into each other a bit. A bit model stretching, but I guess that can be hard to get rid of, when the panels have to be so light weigh. but finale words, just a fantasticly well made mod.

I´ve been playing this brilliant game right from it´s release, I have over 1000 hours played and I´ve tested almost every single mod. I´love cars and motorsport is my passion. I gotta say your mod is the best mod this game has ever had, without a doubt. For 2 reasons: The first one is because this is the first ever proper realistic single seater mod in BeamNG (something we have been waiting for years) and not only in BeamNG this is the first single seater with realistic damage in videogames history a huge a accomplishment. The second reason is how the mod is done: The damage model, the physics, the sounds, the handling, the liveries, the steering wheel details, the mechanical details, the posibility to choose 13´s or 18´s... It´s all a 10/10. I can´t imagine the amount of hours you´ve been working on it. Your knowledge and passion must be immeasurable and that should be recognised by a big videogames studio. You are supremely talented.
Finally I have a couple things you can look to improve this mod:
- You should try to make the monocoque stronger. There has never been modern monocoques severely damaged because they are virtualy
indestructible. This mods monocoque can be damaged relatively easily in comparison to real life. If were you I would put the halo physiscs in the survival cell (not the monocoque). Here´s how a single seater monocoque is: http://masterbadger.blogspot.com/2012/08/coming-soon.html You can see when you take the nosecone off there´s like 30 cm of extra crumple zone (where the 3rd element damper is) between the nosecone and the drivers feet. The idea is to make that "breakable" with the possibility of coming apart like the engine or the gearbox are. Here´s two examples of that part works and were the survival cell starts: JM Correa crash: https://imagenes.20minutos.es/files/image_656_370/uploads/imagenes/2019/08/31/1048372.jpg Here´s those 30 cm that can come apart: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fe00-marca.uecdn.es%2Fassets%2Fmultimedia%2Fimagenes%2F2019%2F09%2F01%2F15673254656350.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.marca.com%2Fmotor%2Fformula1%2Fgp-belgica%2F2019%2F09%2F01%2F5d6b7d9322601d99568b4640.html&tbnid=rFwUh0JeQsu5TM&vet=12ahUKEwjiwJ69xLbsAhVSIRoKHR-qDzEQMygPegUIARDGAQ..i&docid=IxXlNS4g4vYL9M&w=990&h=557&q=correa%20crash&ved=2ahUKEwjiwJ69xLbsAhVSIRoKHR-qDzEQMygPegUIARDGAQ And Kubica´s famous crash: https://b.fssta.com/uploads/content/dam/fsdigital/fscom/MOTORS/images/2016/06/10/KUB/061016_motor_kubica_9.vresize.1024.576.high.60.jpg You can see in both cases the car absorbs energy right before the drivers feet, but never after because the survival cell protects them. That should mahe the mod even more realistic, specially in high speed crashes.
-Another thing that could improve the mod is to make the rear wing a bit stronger, kinda like the front wing because it comes off very easy, even in frontal crashes, something that doesn´t happen in real life.
Other than that the mod is perfect. Thank you so much. Stay passionate!!!!!-
Author's Response
First off, thank you so much for the kind words :)
Secondly, I'd like to add that what you mentioned (the possibility of having the pedal box be ripped off in hard crashes, hence the JM Correa reference) is a possibility I have thought about a lot. However, that sort of stuff in particular is extremely hard to simulate in BeamNG the proper way. It's a feature that I would've loved to include, and I'm happy someone has noticed its existence too.
I might look into it at some point, no promises though :)
As for the rear wing, I will look into it.
We modders don't get this sort of appreciative review very often, I truly appreciate yours. :)
