Flat 6 SOHC - 2.6L
Boxer 4 OHV - 1.6L

To meet the demand of a country that was rebuilding in the post-war period, a cargo and passenger vehicle was needed that was economical, inexpensive for production and maintenance. Available initially in two versions and with OHV boxer 1600, 59hp and 114nm.

The Lux version (1.2 update)

After the post-war period, the vehicle was exported to the whole world, mainly to the United States. Compared to larger competitors and equipped with V6 and V8 engines, the engineers used the Borsche 911 turbo engine (see my other mod), with displacement reduced to 2.6, carbureted, naturally aspirated and with camshaft to deliver torque at low revs.
The numbers were 112hp and 195nm coupled into a longer body with chrome trim and larger wheels
