Beta ExplosionsNG 1.1.7

In the previous update, The Convergence explosive was set to start at the fourth phase. This has been fixed to correctly start at the first phase.

This update was done a while ago, but quickly turned into writing two testing frameworks and writing tests due to the complexity of the system (and my lack of confidence in me breaking anything in the future ). I'm not anywhere close to writing automated tests for the whole mod, but there is a decent skeleton that at least means I'm semi-confident I haven't broken anything with these changes .

This contains a variety of bug fixes and improvements (too many to list here). Suffice to say,...

Corrects the texture generation mappings. This should prevent the UI from showing that the textures are not loaded when they are, and will prevent the mod from duplicating the texture mappings.

Main Changes:

• Added environment effects - cloud changes for both the Lighting Storm and The Convergence explosives. This includes environmental darkening for the former as well.
• The app now has some support for controlling with a keyboard*
  • Press TAB to focus the next element (button, text field etc) - these elements will have an outline to visibly show when they are focused. Press SHIFT+TAB to focus the previous element. Hitting ENTER while an element is...

Small update to fix a couple of issues:

• Missing cache files for the Black Hole explosive - if you are on slower hardware, you may notice some (small) load time improvements
• Fixed the Gravity Orbs explosive not affecting vehicles

I'm currently reviewing the recent changes to the supernova shockwave clouds - both what was there previously/on initial release and what is there now do not feel quite right in all light conditions; but I think I'm preferring the newer look at...

This update brings some additional tweaks (quite a lot behind the scenes), but most excitingly: a new explosive!

Black Hole Explosive

The black hole is a tier 3 explosive that passively attracts vehicles towards it. It's main source of vehicular damage comes from its pulse attack which will fire out shockwaves that violently pull vehicles towards it.

Chaos Mode

Clicking the dice icon at the top right of the configuration page will bring you to a new screen. When active, it will create a new, random explosive around your vehicle at set intervals. This screen allows you to configure the settings for the mode, including restricting what explosives are allowed to be...

This update is mostly fixes and small quality of life improvements. I intend the next update to contain more feature additions, but fixes have priority for now .

Main Changes:

• Some issues were reported of materials not loading. Additional checking is now in place for loading materials - a warning will show if the textures have not been properly loaded. To clear the issue, a simple reload of the map should suffice.
