ETK 2001 and Gavril Custodian 1.0

"lore-friendly" versions of two 70s vehicles

  1. SuperEmbracer
Hi there! It's SuperEmbracer again, and i have a two-in-one mod for you!

These are the 1972 ETK 2001 and the 1972 Gavril Custodian, "lore-friendly" Automation-made versions of the BMW 2002 and the Ford Escort Mk1, respectively. Both share a 101 kW 2-liter Inline-4 engine, a FR layout, and the same Chassis.

    ETK 2001

Description: More affluent individuals back in the day would buy this car simply because it was a ETK. It was popular with the middle class, being that it was (relatively) affordable, sporty, and it was an ETK. It only saw limited success in the English-speaking world (the best selling-country in those countries was the UK), but it was a big hit in Continental Europe, especially in Austria, West Germany, and the Nordic Countries.

Today, it is primarily used as a drifting vehicle, or simply as a heritage vehicle taken on a road trip with other heritage vehicles. Or simply to be rebuilt into a dedicated race car. Your choice.

    Gavril Custodian

Description: A popular vehicle in the UK, Ireland, Australia, any country where they spoke English as the norm. Some people treated this car like their very own family member, and passed this car to their eldest son/daughter.

During the 80s and the early 90s, the Custodian was often a popular choice for joyriders, often resulting in inflated insurance premiums for unfortunate motorists who happened to own a Gavril Custodian.

Today, this car is often used for historical rallies, being popular today for this exact reason.
