THIS HAS BEEN ADDED AS A BASE GAME FEATURE
Customizable Cursors for Controllers (CCC) adds a controller-friendly cursor system to BeamNG.drive, made for interacting with vehicle doors and hatches without needing to grab your mouse every few seconds.
It gives you an on-screen cursor that can be moved and used with keybinds, making it much easier to click doors, trunks, switches, latches, interior buttons, and other interactive parts while using a controller.
Features
How to use
- On-screen cursor
- Controller-friendly controls
- Bindable cursor movement
- Bindable left click
- Bindable right click
- Adjustable cursor colour
- Adjustable cursor size
- Cursor visibility toggle
- Different control modes
- Useful for walking mode and vehicle interaction
- Works with normal BeamNG doors and other things where supported
Add the "Cursor" UI app from the UI Apps menu.
The search "cursor" in controls and everything you need will pop up.
Bind the cursor movement and click controls to whatever keys or controller buttons you want.
Once set up, move the cursor over a clickable part and press your bound click button.
Recommended setup
For controller users, bind cursor movement to a joystick or D-pad, then bind left click to a comfortable button.
Notes
CCC does not replace BeamNG’s normal mouse controls. It is only meant to make clickable vehicle parts easier to use, especially for controller players.

Some stuff may behave differently depending on the vehicle or mod, but anything that normally responds to a mouse click is the main target.
I currently can only get it to work in walking mode (unicycle) so apologies for that.
