Made for the 1962 market to compete with the earliest turbo cars (which are American), using a similar 215 v8 engine that was in the Oldsmobile Jetfire.
Being that many cars of the era were boats, they decided to take it one step further and put on teak top decking, and even modelled it after a boat for extra style. You can see the build video over on my channel.
