Ever want to turn your hopper into a whoop swallowing sand crushing, desert racing beast? well this mod will get you part way there.
a simple mod with a not so simple goal, turn the hopper into a prerunner.
I never liked how pretty much every prerunner mod and offroad racing vehicle only ever used what seemed to be standard shocks. SO i broke the mold, learned Jbeam and made shocks and springs worthy of desert racing, all the tuning options included.
Features a new full body race cage and long travel suspension massive bypass shocks and much more (only cage is modeled) 35 inch tires for 15inch rims, Anitrock sway bars, 4.7L Stroker internals for the I6, and much more.
Ive been working on this on and off for a good year now and finally have gotten the suspension to a point im mostly happy with, how ever im not the best at modeling/ kinda lazy being more focused on the suspension then anything.
DO NOTE THOU! this is still a jeep, not a tube frame trophy truck, dont expect it to take massive air or pound thru whoops at 100 mph. 60-70 is my recommended speed thru maps like Dead Sea Rally and The Desert Trails.
Things that need doing before the next update.
*keep tweaking the suspension geometry front and rear....this could take a while to get it perfect. Done
*shocks and springs are pretty much done at this point save for some very fine tuning when the geometry is corrected. Done
*clean up unused nodes and beams in the code. In progress
*refine jbeam for some parts fuel cell is still a little jiggly and rear spare tires get stuck in the cage sometimes.
Future plans:
Texture and add the 44 gallon fuel cell (in development in game untextured)
Texture the 35inch tires (done thou texture is place holder)
model the suspension components
custom interior
Finish modeling the front and rear bumpers with spare tires.
Finish the cage with the details that are missing
Far Future plans:
Baja Accessories like warning lights and siren, jack and other things

alternate cage and body style
