Beta Backyard Kart 0.17.6

A backyard-built kart

  1. More fixes! And more stuff!

    nachtstiel
This update is pretty extensive since I was working on the proposed changes when I received a few bug reports about missing meshes and bad textures. Some of this update is WIP, so do not expect everything to be stable, but what's in the configs should be stable. Again, if you notice anything not listed in the known section, please let me know and I'll try to get it fixed.

    Changes:
    • Increased stability of front suspension and rear axle
    • Increased stability of some of the tires...
  2. Even More Stuff!

    nachtstiel
This update includes a few fixes and some new stuff:

    Fixes:
    • Configs are no longer broken
    • Steering geometry is more sensible
    • Powertrain has been updated to be more logical
    • Tires have been made more stable
New Stuff (WIP ,Included because It's integrated into the parts already):
    • AWD transfer case and accompanying front differential
Both frames now handle much better. Watching Neilogical's video about it helped me see an unexperienced user's point...
  3. New Stuff!

    This update brings a lot.

    Additions:
    • Independent Rear Suspension frame
      • This frame is more than 100lbs heavier than the base frame
    • New coilovers
      • Heavy for big jumps and Adjustable
    • 22x18 front tires
      • To match the rear tires
    • Added front and rear spoilers
      • The rear one is not really needed, but it adds like 10 hp out of sheer coolness.
    • Added more specialized configs
      • Primarily the IRS frame...
  4. Some new stuff and fixes

    nachtstiel
I got a couple bug reports and put in fixes to them. I also was working on the new setup, so enjoy an early version of the 1.5 config! The parts related to the 1.5 config are all WIP, so expect them to be buggy/look weird.

    Changes:
    • Added new rear axle
    • Added new Transmission
    • Added the welded front suspension
    Fixes:
    • Standard 3-lug rims should no longer break
    • Steering no longer causes the suspension to compress
    • The 250cc and 450cc engines can now turn...
