Update 3.3:
Hello all! Thanks for over 130,000 downloads and for all the positive feedback. I hope all of you are enjoying your summer, and looking forward to the release of v0.29. I am presently working two jobs, one in the morning and one well into the evening, so BeamNG stuff has been put on the back-burner for when I have the time or want/need to unwind a bit. Thus, progress is slow but this update has a decent amount of content additions and improvements in it which I am sure you will all enjoy.
Update Contents:
Clear Tail Lights:
![]()
Thank you to @ThatSlowVW for posting the original concept of this on Reddit and allowing me to run with it and get it actually working.
Clear "EUDM" tail lights available for all Vivace models, wide body or narrow, light bar or no light bar. Replaces the red/pinkish hue with a colorless filament. Adds rear daytime running light function as well. Hatch lights are selectable only in both of my "Modular tailgates" and also includes a clear version of the Center High Mount Stop Lamp (CHMSL or 3rd brake light)
New and improved stage 2 models and filter heat shield:
Improved Cherrier Ataraxia wheels:
- Brand new filter heat shield that better fits the engine bay area and is a much higher quality model. Includes silver ring around the hold where the intake pipe comes through for some added detail.
- Brand new mounting brackets and hardware for stage 2 intercooler, including zinc plated torx head hardware.
- Unwrapped and properly applied the texture to the metal charge pipes
New modified silver texture that appears less white than the vanilla texture of the wheels these are based on. Added the right Cherrier branded center caps
Base Model EUDM Rear Bumper:
Tried for a while to delete the rear markers Like I did in the past on the Sport and S bumpers but just couldn't get it right with how I wanted it to look. Now that I had the clear light texture though, I added clear markers instead, which I think is a nice touch. If I figure out how to delete the reflectors in the future I may end up doing that, not sure though. (Also peep the new Arsenic Werks logo on the plate)
Improved Tograc Euro Bumper:
Made lower valance removable with proper jbeam to help with ground clearance and keep the bumper from catching or clipping on your off-road builds.
Reworked TCU Logic for 7-speed DCT:
After a lot of R&D for both this mod and HMT, I think I finally found the sweetspot values for the smart aggression calculation. Behaves much more like a real world transmission now, adapting to your current driving and keeping revs low when just cruising. Also decreased the transmission whine noise, as it was too loud in the interior in my opinion. Overall, really happy with it now.
That's all for now. Config pack will be updated very soon to reflect parts added in this update as well as to update them with the changes I have made to them with colors and wheel choices and such. I think I will finally be getting around to doing exhaust models in the near future, as I have figured out a solid workflow for it now. Will likely play with the sounds as I have learned a good bit about that too.
As always, if you enjoy the content in this mod, please consider leaving a review. If you have issues, reach out directly.
