American License Plate Pack

Many thanks to baarry5444 for putting in the work to update this so quickly! 100% of this update is on them.

I have done my best to convert all 50 US states, as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, to the new license plate system in 0.39. Please note the following changes and potential issues:

Introduced in the 0.27 update back in 2022, Johnson Valley is finally supported, using the California license plates. Meanwhile, Small Island now uses California plates instead of Texas plates, as part of the map's remaster around 2020 (does anyone remember this?).

Two variations of the California license plates are selectable, as both the full and lite versions have slight differences between the two. And rather than having one or the other, why not have both?

Additionally, I created new folders for the California, Hawaii, Maine, Texas, and Utah license plates' textures. I'm not sure if this is just me or not, but with the mod enabled and prior to making this change, the textures from this mod would somehow conflict with the vanilla textures when it comes to vanilla map support. But the JBeam and JSON files still work fine as intended in their original locations for their respective vanilla maps, so I'll leave it at that for now.

The colors for the fonts may be off compared to the rest of the corresponding license plates, partially due to the 0.39 graphics overhaul and the new license plate system. I could have spent more time tweaking the font colors, but I went with the original RGB values as it would be a hassle to get everything down perfectly when the purpose of this update is to make them work with the new system. Anyone is welcome to tweak the colors and improve the visuals though!

Likewise, although I tried realigning and repositioning the fonts for each and every license plate to the best of my abilities, there's still a chance that they may be slightly off. At least each license plate is using the correct font and formatting, which is arguably the most important aspect of this update! Like the previous bullet point, I encourage everyone to provide constructive feedback and even help out where possible!

Finally, to address the elephant in the room, I am aware that some states are now using newer license plate designs than what's provided in the mod, such as Tennessee. As the mod was officially last updated in 2019, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that some new designs have been made between then and now. As much as I would like to include them, again, the scope of this update is merely on the 0.39 compatibility side.

However, this is where I am asking the community for some help once again! Some high-quality references (even better if they come without the registration applied), fonts, and formatting should be enough for consideration. Contributing to the mod by getting them working in-game would help out tremendously!
