2025-2027 Vermilion Promethium (REMAKE) 4.0

Hello there! My name is Flingang, and this is the remake of the discontinued 2024-2025 Vermilion Promethium.



As some of you have seen or not, my first mod is now unsupported and is now renamed to have "Legacy" in the name. To be honest with you, I decided that the old versions of the Promethium no longer represent my new standards, and this time I'm going to make a new version of the Promethium, with working steering wheel, and some of the gauges (I plan to get all of them working, eventually along with other stuff such as transmission and other fixtures).



What I've changed from the old to the new car is mostly the exterior, like the front fascia and especially the side vents in front of the doors. You might see some engine performance changes as well. So, there will be one or two updates to either update the engines with the correct hp and torque for a certain RPM, add new trims with supercharger, or both in the same update. Also, thank you for the over 67000 downloads for my previous mod, it means a lot to me, and it helps me to get motivated to make more mods. Without further ado, let's move into the car's descriptions.



This is the remake of my first mod, the Vermilion Promethium. The car started production in 2024 as a 2025 model year, after 22 years of the end of production of the first-generation, which lasted from the 1992 model year through 2002, and no successor or a newer generation to replace it. What makes the model so special is its range of high displacement V10 engines, from 8.4L DOHC and 8.5L OHV, all the way to 8.8L OHV, which some of them make over 1000 hp without forced induction, and also there is a 1450 hp supercharged 8.8L OHV V10 engine included. There is also a 600 hp Group GT3 race car, and an insane 4000 hp Twin-Turbo drag racing car. While nearly every major automaker in the world is transitioning all their fleet to EVs, Vermilion is still making the Promethium entirely with internal combustion engines, which is a middle finger to the environmentalists and government nannies. The car is described as very fast and dangerous, and only the skilled drivers can handle the beast, with manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, powerful and large V10 engine in the front. All the versions have a 6-speed manual transmission (except the 2025-2026 SPV GT3-R 512 and 2025 Annihilator 550, which have a 6-speed sequential shifter).

The speed, RPM, fuel, and water temperature gauges, along with the steering wheel are functional. The cars with gated manual transmission also have them working, the pedals are all also working. But the hydraulic handbrakes present in two of the cars (GT3 and Drag Racing variants) are working, although the fixtures move a bit weirdly out of place. The sequential transmissions and the handbrakes for most of the cars are not working until I find a way to make them work. The boost gauge is behaving weirdly in the GTX 540 Nirvana trim, since I don't know yet how to make them working properly, only working like 0 and 1 in computer like either maximum or minimum, nothing in between.



Also, the 2025 GTX-R 574 trim (displayed as the purple and white car with carbon fiber wheels above) has been removed for Version 4.0 of the pack, due to some animation issues I couldn't figure out how to fix, but I believe it has to do wih the exporter. I tried changing the carbon fiber rims to forged rims, tried to change the text script for animations, I also tried making it by copying a different trim and pasting the fixtures and editing it afterwards, but no matter what I did, the issue was always the same. But oh well, the car was insane, with a 9.4L NA OHV V10 making 1200 bhp and 800 lb-ft of torque, and top speed of 258 mph (416 km/h). It was a hard decision I had to do, and unfortunately I removed the trim from the pack.



This car really requires lots of driving skills to actually be tamed, and even then, the car is likely to bite you.
