1989 Ibishu Pescoupe
The comfort of a Pessima in a more compact and sporty body
![]()
Made as an attempt to compete in the ever growing coupe market, Ibishu thought that a coupe body style for the popular Pessima would make sense and will generate a lot of money. In the end most trim models failed, but some of them remain to be known as legends in the present day, like the ZX, which was one of the best selling coupes at the time because of the small price and legendary 2.6L engine, or even better, the GTz, which had a heavy duty block, a turbocharger, a new AWD system and new exterior and interior parts compared to the normal Pessima. The GTz Pescoupe was made to dominate every motorsport it took part in, starting from closed track racing to hillclimb and even rally.
