Let me make an update for this one since 1.2 is approved, damn I'm confused rn lmao
Apologies for the late reply, glad it works :)
And as for the maps, if it has an ocean it will work :)

I tried to download the Thread mod, but unfortunately this shows up in the Console.

I dowloaded it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles folder.

Can't see anything labeled "flood" in the controls menu

EDIT: Problem was fixed via a game restart

Don't put it into your game files, install it to your mods folder inside your userfolder.
Here's how to get to that:

    Edit

Got it working, this is an amazing mod so good for cars that overheat, anyway to make it work with modded maps?

You may want to consider adding wave height, wave period and foam particles in future updates - that will really enhance the experience.

*I forgot to write that a great addition would be that once the limit is reached, the flood height goes back to its initial position

If that's an option in the editor then sure, I'll check it out soon. Thanks for the suggestion

Unforuntately higher waves look incredibly bad in BeamNG due to alpha layering issues, foam particles do not exist for objects other than vehicles and wave period is not a setting.
