yeah the performance gains over the dev cycle unless you're running AMD graphics like me but that's something being looked into at least are pretty mighty, and with further optimisation in both the game's development and hardware later down the line vr could possibly be a late-stage addition
I'd suspect the front fascia on the curiosity caravan is not actually the facelift, but rather the passenger van version of the existing 90s fascia. the main reason I think this is how the sides of the grille have the "kink" in it 2/3 of the way down, as does the (90s) grand marshal. the real facelifted vans, such as the GMT610 express and 2008 econoline, have much more "organically" shaped headlights (you'd expect some curved edges like the facelift D15/roamer), where these seem to conform exactly to the existing rectangular panel outlines. being compound headlights, they also match the general construction of the pre-facelift roamer or original D-series.
Career mode would make sense when they have all of the gameplay features they desire (plus UI). and I imagine they would still keep adding content over time. I would like if the Curiosity Caravan has a custom van style interior at some point. we could do with some sort of Caravan/Conversion/70's style custom van.
I must say the H-Series is probably the vehicle that they have the most creative freedom with, they could add a 2010 or newer facelift and it would be entirely plausible, given both Ford & Chevrolet have been running their equivalent vans with the same body-style since 1991 & 1996 respectively. Just with facelifts. The H-Series is pretty much the only vehicle in the game that could plausibly have a 30-odd year lifespan.
The T-series could also be extended back to about 1955 (to resemble the peterbilt 281), and up to the modern day if they wanted to, making a 66 year production.
Speaking of interiors, besides a custom one, I also think it would only make sense for them to add the same color options as the D-series and Roamer interiors.
Am I the only one to think that that fascia looks wayyy too cartoony to be used as a production fascia? My bet would be on this being a custom made part for that tuner van specifically, kinda pimp my ride style
The H-Series with that weird 2000's "bodykit" with those fat, flowing bumpers, the big 19 or 20 inch chromies and the weird spoiler on it. Especially with that new fascia it looks very weird. Kinda out of proportion, ngl. Hopefully it'll have a massive subwoofer wall in the rear for that NFS UG2 vibe.
Tbh, the way the headlights seen here are designed (quadruple beams, with the low ones being on the top and the high ones on the bottom) reminds me of the 'Late' Roamer and D-Series. The chrome grille, though, looks like it could be the 'Passenger' version of the 'Stock' H-Series because it looks very 90s and its chrome trim also goes round the fender signals. Although I wouldn't necessarily tie it to the Grand Marshal in terms of aesthetics. Even the gauge cluster seems a bit different, like the case of the 'Late' D-Series, the gauge cluster (and not only the gauge cluster) of which is lifted straight out of the Roamer. This is confusing!
