Downloading content from World Of Mods

I want to download a Lamborghini Gallardo 2005 from World of Mods (WOM) but I want to know if any of you guys were able to download content from WOM

 

Don't even try to do it, not worth

 

Why?

 

Stay away from third-party websites such as World of Mods; these sites have low-quality mods.

Stick with the forums for high-quality mods instead of these shady websites.

 

World Of Mods is virus-free AFAIK, so download if you want. Just know that you're not going to be getting a quality mod most of the time, so it likely won't handle or feel like a real lambo

 

If they have an installer, DON'T USE IT. You should look for the option to just download the .zip file for the vehicle, if that's an option. The installer they have is definitely going to install the files incorrectly and may have a virus as well. Chances are, the folders are packaged incorrectly as well, I believe the wiki has an article on the correct way they need to packaged for the game to load them correctly.

As mentioned before: Don't get your hopes up of those being high-quality mods. They aren't going to handle, drive, or sound like the actual car and crashing them is going to look horrible.

So the Mods show up in game when you download without installer?

 

I don't know, because I haven't been to those sites in a very long time, but you are still probably going to have to reorganize the folders before it'll have any chance of working.

so my mod is finished! but i don't know how to create a zip file for the vehicle. Any ideas?

Thanks. Now I know how the zip's structure is supposed to be. But I can't find any button in beamng that says "save this vehicle in a folder"

 

you can but its a crappy mod and may give you a virus.

 

I got the Pagani Zonda' s icon to appear in game but the vehicle won't appear when it's loaded up.

 

It's a crappy outdated mod!

 

Ps I don't wanna be a jerk asking so many questions I am just a newbie who's experimenting making mods for the first time.
