Out of curiosity, are you gonna include these bad boys in the map too? After all, they're actually really easy to do in the world editor.
I guess you dont, but if you want one more tester, here i am. I have an average AMD pc (i can run with high settings the game at 35-40 fps in all maps). Anyway, amazing work!
By including, do you mean the actual camera when you do the jump? Or just the jump in general, because they are definitely in.
I was moreso referring to the stunt jump camera themselves since they're part of the whole experience, and just because I know they're possible to make in Beam - not that they necessarily have to be included.
Yeah basically. I used them a ton in my maps, can't remember the specifics but I know you can either make two LuaTrigger blocks and have an separate external camera bookmark, or you can have just one huge Trigger that basically force-changes the camera from orbit to external upon entering. The only thing is, I don't know if the second choice allows for you to specify the speed of the camera (so that the camera plays in slow motion - like how it was done in Paradise)
Welp, looks like it is time to overclock my computer so hard that I knock out power to the entire state. In all seriousness though, I'm surprised that you're getting that much considering the complexity of the models we're talking about. Do the tops of the buildings have collision? They did in Paradise, although the only way to discover that was: Ugh, mingolovesdrive stop making me reminisce about 2008
Anything visible has collision at the moment, getting official collision is a WIP. So probably not that random thing in the air lol
Using visible collisions? That's why the framerates are hurting. Visible collisions for something that massive must take one hell of a toll on your system. lol
I am 100% in. If I don't get notified AS SOON AS THIS IS COMPLETE I will get the map and make a dummy get crushed by some cars Can you include some Burnout Paradise cars too though? #Hawker --- Post updated --- P.S: Can I join the beta testing? My PC specs: NVidia GeForce GTX1070ti Windforce, running Windows 10 64 Bit on a Intel Core I7 Processor, 8gb Ram. My pc should be able to run it, it can run the Tennessee map at 45-60fps almost constantly.
Could you possibly throw a discord invite my way? If you want to know my specs they are in my signature. Really love the progress so far! Been waiting for something like this to come around for a while, but am just now discovering it
