The track spec is weird one on the handling, it has 80% on the brake power by default, it brakes just too bad, past 200kmh it waves around, add race steering and with little movement you go sideways on highspeed.
P.S. Also paddle shifted steering wheel on sequential hillclimb config

Try to look at the Hirochi Sunstorm and you are good, maybe you could plan swapping the V10 model into a Sunburst (although won't be too optimistic due to the lack of space)

This car could use a refresh, the Apex livery is so low res, you see the pixels

I think someone should pull up Blender and see how small the front legroom really is for the driver.

From what I am looking during some revisions of making a new set of seats for the Hirochi Sunstorm (deriving from the ETK ttSport), the distance between the brake pedal and the front driver seat (the front surface of the bottom of the backrest) is only 80 cm (which is 4 cm shorter than the already small Ibishu BX)!

    Does anyone notice that?

You think the seat models of the SBR are too simple? Wait till you see how small the leg room of the front seats are. For context, a person who is about 6 ft (average height for a man btw, don't forget they wear shoes too while driving) would be extremely cramped to drive at the front, which means the rear seat space would be drastically reduced. Think about the body ergonomics too for anyone who is designing a lore-friendly vehicle mod.

@Exchy I have managed to integrate the ETK ttSport seats with HEAVY modifications and barely increased by 10-11 cm in terms of length (to about 91 cm), for reference Scintilla is much longer at 104 cm.

Even though legroom (shown below) is not a straight line as I have shown above, my point still stands that the SBR4's front legroom is abysmally small.

also since the car is based off of a r35 gtr (the body shape in the rear gives it away, and so for the seats), and its also japanese, and japanese are short, it makes sense

The rear bumpers are very Audi R8-esque (the diffusers on the side vents), and one thing you missed about the R35 inspiration were the gauges. Even though average Japanese men are 5'7, I don't think anyone would drive cars while taking their shoes off, wouldn't you think an 80 cm horizontal legroom is a bit too cramped?

I think there is an issue with the stock 7-speed DCT. The gear ratio of the 7th is too long. In 7th, the car cannot reach its peak power, and looses speed after switching from 6 to 7. And even though the last gear has a longer ratio that the 6th gear of the 6-manual, the top speed is always higher with the manual gearbox ; because the car do not run at its peak power (around 6k RPM) with the 7th gear of the DCT.

many cars have overdrive gears, such as corvettes, that aren't meant for speed, but just cruising

The more I ponder about the SBR4's intercoolers being trapped within the unibody, the more I want to fix those intercoolers considering how much of a nightmare when someone needs to maintain the car to take out the intercoolers for example.

My solution, @Diamondback if you want it for next update (0.39), I will release it on repo next week so you can take the whole thing, just make sure you credit me!:
