Anyone hoping for some kinda off road up date since King of the Hammers is coming up? It would be awesome to use a mini truck on some newly created rock courses in JV. Just wishing
I'd be down for that, but considering the recent development direction and the community being fed-up with offroad updates, I doubt it would happen anytime soon.
I really hope that the next update is a bus update, which would make sense considering the fact that bus stops were updated and the file that was referring to a school bus body for the MD
Let's just hope the Devs become more transparent than before and give us insights on when the updates come out. Oh wait this is real life, lol not gonna happen
No, Nowadays they are too vague on everything. we don't have a roadmap, or any progress updates, except career mode
Remember LONG ago, I think 2016 they use to post something is on the haorrzion, So we knew what kind of stuff we can kinda look forward to. However least we know they done with trucks, And off roaderrs. BE GREAT if they worked on classic cars. I.E giveing us another Iron bumper classic, Talking of remakes/remasters. we getting due again. for one. last was last years 200bx ( i still call it that. lol ) I would say burnside or Moonhawk. Just to think how stunning a 2 door coupe with a Later flathead then the Nines . as burnside is not a Bruckell, A stunning Coupe. Maybe a wagon. AS well as the moonhawk, WE need a sedan, then i can for fill the Holden Kingwood vibe, LOL BUT As much as i need/want those classics to be worked on more. I would vote like most of us. and say SUNBURST needs some loveing. or a remake, Its a lovely car, it sure is. i enjoy it still. its the fastest car in reverse with CVT Just get a RS and add CVT. Anyway sorry for even worse grammar then even normal. got a cold and feeling rough lol
I agree, classic cars are neglected. We don't have 40's cars and most of oldies are in line for remaster. They said that they are done for now with Truck content and some time ago they said that they take break from offroad content. We don't have any Mid-Size Pick-up and SUV so there is niche to fill. Personally I would like to see more modern cars like 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. They probably will get a Simplified Traffic and Parking vehicles. More we get more variety we got in career mode.
On topic of mid size pickup and SUVs, I always wondered if Hopper's frame could serve as a base. Extend it a bit, add a few more engines and its perfect for new vehicles or additional bodystyles for Hopper. Its also how certain Japanese pickups and SUVs were made back in the day.
I do wish that you could just walk into a vehicle to push it. I tried to push my covet off of a small curb that I had got stuck on in career mode, and instead I had to tow it back to the garage (which was three feet away)
i have thought that would be great for a while since the hopper running gear is basically that of a 4 runner i also hate how its a jeep i try to see it as a retro styling based off the old land cruiser or maybe like the 50's parts bin specials designed to be jeep like during the limited re-armement
Yep. Without a roadmap, there's not much to speculate on except ideas we pull out of community discussions or thin air
In its very beginning, the Vivace 1.6 I4 with its 230 ECU also had some loud farts when shifting, letting off the gas and stationary revving it. Shown in YBR's video, @7:42 - 7:54. They got rid of them too, but they replaced them with some much more discreet ones. They kinda come close to the original backfires with the Tuned Exhaust though. As for the 2.5 I5, the new sound is epic, especially when equipped with the Race ECU (with its 8250rpm redline), and it has some equally epic backfires when letting off the gas (not to mention it even backfires when shutting it off with the Race ECU, which is also true of the 1.6 I4 with the Race ECU - and I absolutely love this, especially in an enclosed area, with the reverb effect) but there are absolutely no audible backfires when upshifting. It makes flames but no sound, unfortunately. --- Post updated --- Yep, after all, the Wentward DT40-L bus is the only big vehicle to still not have a Belasco-Diesel engine. The MD's 640CUI Belasco-Diesel I6 is perfect for both these vehicles having bus variants, although a rebranding of the original Gavril 8.9 TCM to Belasco-Diesel 544CUI would suffice for the bus. Yep, epic in fact!!!
